Within the strange bowels of the beast Tachyon, Ventus following Eurybia crawled and crouched through the ugly tunnel. It was a horrible dim place, a claustrophobic dark purple tunnel, stinging liquid that oozed from the walls. Ventus was fighting off every instinct he had to get the heck out but he resisted as Eurybia lead the way. Eurybia came to what was a hole leading further down "Ventus down here. I can sense her presence down this tunnel"
"Then let's...just go" he said not hiding his disgust for the area "For...hmmm I'm not gonna lie this place is vile"
"I'll agree with you there, I promise to give you a shower of the gods after your help"
"Oh alright then...ahhh...mind counting me down though"
"Oh hmmm okay...three, two, one" holding his nerve he jumped down the hole, sliding on the smooth almost vertical wall.
All vision vanished as light faded, the tunnel seeming getting tighter with some alien substance slipping into his mouth until it suddenly opened up...Ventus landing in a knee-deep pool of blue fluid. The room was more lit than previous, Ventus coughing badly to the slight pungent smell, as his hands were in the slightly thick room "Now where are we? Why did it just...go...suffocat-?" on immediate notice, an almost suffocating aura – the feeling akin to solitude – just smothered the air making it hard to breathe "Ahh...what is this...this...th...w..." as he looked round, his whole thought process just stopped
"In...the name of the almighty..." Eurybia remarked "This place"
Ventus was in a giant open chamber, the walls filled with small colours orbs that were half-smothered in the fleshy surface, light feeding in and out of them. They were hundreds and hundreds of the orbs, no bigger than tennis balls, just filling the room. All the orbs looked dim, mildly eroded and cracked dripping the fluid that filled the floor "Wha...what's going on? What are these and...why can I sense spirit power from them?" Ventus asked as Eurybia looked and looked
"Ventus...there!" she said wading through to the only orb that was on floor level, on a fleshy pedestal. Ventus wading over "I thought it felt it. This is her" as Ventus looked at the orb bright aqua blue and half dim, he felt the familiarity
"I...I can feel her strength" he said in surprise "Its sealed inside this orb, or is it better to say...it condensed into this orb"
"When Katsia was defeated...Kyoko's demon's must've captured her spirit into this orb" but a dark thought followed
"Then...wait..." Ventus said now horrified "Now if that's true then..." he feverishly looked all around "All of these orbs, are the spirits Kyoko has captured!"
As his eyes scanned, one orb stuck out, a yellow one glinting in the distance some way up on the wall – the size of a marble - which he ignored for a moment "Well if this is Katsia, I'm getting her out" as he gripped the orb though, the tendrils trapping it withered and burned on contact freeing it "Katsia..."
"Ven...Ven...Ventus..." a weak echoed voice spoke out "Is...Is that you? When did the...cold go away?"
"It...really...really is you" he said hugging the orb, tears falling down "I...I...ackkk" the orb would begin to shine brighter, the colour restoring
"Ventus...it...really is you. I can't see you but I can feel...your warmth all around me" he cried for a moment with Eurybia rubbing his head
"Now's not the time young one...but I understand your emotion"
