Ventus was still fighting Veldolf using what strength he had to fend him off but it was proving somewhat futile. Veldolf was powering through every one of Ventus' defences and striking small and sometimes heavy blows. Ventus once more was batted away, panting as his aura shifted down to Gear 2 "Your stamina is waning here Ventus" said Veldoph "and I'm starting to get bored, now fight me!"
"I can't...lose...here" he said to himself "People...are counting on me...and the...others are..." Ventus somehow forced himself back to Gear 4 and fired an energy at Veldolf who batted it away rather casually
"Try again"
"Hmmm...ahhh" Ventus went into full on offensive firing energy blasts that Veldoph just batted away before catching a punch he thrust forward/
Ventus threw a flurry of punches that Veldolf dodged and evaded even batting him away. Ventus went for stronger shots that were blocked and batted back and away "None of this is working" he said panicking "Gotta push...onward" changing tactics he ran forward, with a fist clenched but his own exhausted caused him to trip up and fall to Veldolf, beckoning him to almost catch him and harshly throw him backwards
"Look at yourself! Tripping over your own feet! You're not even thinking, you're just lashing out now. Where's the motivation you had at the beginning?"
The hopeless situation was filling the VIP section too "Ventus is trying so hard now but...the poor dear can't even hit him" said Mero anxiously
"Ventus is badly worn down" said Sukura "and the panic of that pistol technique is making him more anxious of evading then thinking about what he's doing"
"I dread to say if this continues...Ventus will not be victorious" said Zarla regretfully with his friends looking on in deep worry, Angel holding her hands
"Ventus...please...keep going"
Soon Ventus had to stop, to catch his breath Veldolf just shrugging his arms "You disappoint me here boy...but I can see you're no longer even a challenge now"
"I've...got no option left" he said to himself "I have to do it!" Ventus went for the tuners and was about to clasp the Divine Shell...but then felt his hand freeze
"You have REALLY disappointed me now...Ventus" Veldolf had encased Ventus' hand in earth stopping him from closing "You are meant to be relying on your strength, not an artificial booster to your power! It seems...you need to pay for this. So...I'm ending this fight now!" Veldolf surrounded Ventus' legs in earth, and trapped him in a sort of mound before showing both fists, vertically.
Ventus panicked really badly, unable to prize himself free "IT's no use" Veldolf said coldly as he slowly walked forward "a selfish soul who only fights for ones ego...can never attain the strength he requires"
"I'm not...fighting...for me" he replied "I'm not..."
"Then what is your reason to fight!? Why do you continue to resist!? You have no home...no place to protect"
"Your wrong...I have...homes...and people I have to...protect otherwise..."
"Words are pointless! Show me!" Veldolf now ran, his fists turning red with sparks
"AHhh...I have to win...or...the people who...helped me could...and...ahhh"
"IT's over!" Veldolf drew closer and then "80% 60K pistol"
