The morning came, Ventus rising from his bed...the memory of the night before in his mind. Ventus saw his sister and Emiko asleep in their beds and heading down by himself brought up his OSCOM "AL...please record my statement please" with a beep Ventus spoke "Dream Log...3...4? Don't matter. Recent dreams...bring new questions over their meaning. The reoccurring dream seems to have a purpose, a reason I go there. The only clues to the truth lie in the town and could relate to someone called Millium, otherwise only time will tell. End of recording"
"Recording ended" AL said "Mr Ventus you also have three messages. One from the Emperor, the 2nd from the Empress and the third seems to be spam"
"Open the message from the Emperor" with a light a holographic text box opened "Dear participants...congratulations. Less than 50, 50, of you remain. Competition only gets more fierce from here. You have two days to rest, the competition resumes mid-day on day 3, rest well and good luck"
Ventus went to message 2 from Zarla which was an audio message "Morning Ventus, or whenever you get this message, didn't get the chance to tell you before...but well done on your fight with Ozway. You performed so well and even possibly saw a glimpse of your next level, you even surprised Ozway...who seemed happy with the fight. I have a special reward for you, along with a favour. Do you mind helping me with my hair again? Please? See you later" Ventus sighed
"Well..at least she seemed sincere. Right let's check Message 3" said Ventus who saw the name read "Info...of a important note, hmm...dele...no open" as he did a text box appeared "If you are reading this message...thank you so much. I didn't want to call you but...let's just say my hand has being forced. I am a good friend of Lexi and Aries, Saku's...sis...ters?"
Ventus now looked to himself, and around in instinct as he kept reading "Lexi and Aries...are good friends of mine, especially online friends, and they tell me of the trouble their having. I can't tell you too much, I don't wish to bring you harm...especially since..." Ventus sighed "you've got enough to deal with but...Saku is the culprit. From first glance he brought them here for a reason but...he's abandoned...everyone?" Ventus itched his head
"Everyone? What does it..." he went back to reading
"But for now leave it there. I don't wish to include you unless I truly have to, but just watch over Lexi and Aries for me" a loveheart and Cross were after the line "I will send you another message if I have to, otherwise good luck in your matches Ventus, warrior of the galaxy. A.D. PS: Type a random word for me to title my next message, so you know it's from me"
"Hmmm...hmm...let's go...HorizonDawn" Ventus typed in the message and with a ping it sent.
Ventus thought on the message "Well...he seems to have abandoned Lexi and Aries, from first glance but 'everyone'? What is that idiot (RING-RING) doing? A call at this...hour"
"Hmm...whose there? Ahhh" Leyla said sleepily walking down the stairs
"No idea, I don't sense anyone too familiar" Ventus walked over to the door "Hold on I'm coming and...oh a delivery man...thing?" an absurdly huge slug like slime monster was before him, a lime colour as many parcels floated in its mass. It would tug one out and hand it to Ventus, its slime drooling oon it and hum "th-thank you" it tipped a hat high on its head and crawled along, while two aliens in jackets hovered up its slime
Euw...that's one way to get a parcel"
"I know...bleh!"
"Toss it into the air" asked Leyla with ventus doing so. Leyla opened a slot into her hand and fired a concentrated blast of air to blow off the slime letting Ventus catch it "there you go"
