Chapter eleven - To Duel Or Not To Duel

~ T.W. Mentions of violence and pain towards children and others. 

~Lives POV 

"You think you can win in a duel against me a Black. So your a freak and an Idiot" All the girls pulled out their wands and pointed them at me and Alexa "No your the idiot" Alexa snapped back. "Hey leave the comebacks to me" I whispered to her and she nodded. 

There were 5 in total two to Walburga left and the other two to her right with her in the centre. We were out numbered yes but I have taken down more people who were stronger with my eyes closed. 

One of the girls to the left of the line shot a body binding curse at Alexa who again blocked it. "Expelliarmus" Alexa said aiming at one of the girls on the right. Their wand flew out off their hand and his one of the bystanders on the head. By now quite a crowd had formed around the 7 of us but I didn't care I wanted to watch Alexa duel. She had proven of value from her knowledge of the school but she was a strong dueller. Her stance was good and her spells were strong and always hit their target.

 Suddenly four of the girls all shot spells at us and I knew Alexa protego wouldn't hold so it was my turn. 

"Protego totalum" 

"Confringo" two voices called from the crowds.

Pam emerged from the left and Tom from the right. Both spells hit the targets and sent two of the girls hurtling backwards slamming their back into the wall behind them.

"Next time was sooner than I thought hey" Pam let out a small laugh "You to huh" Pam called to Tom as he slowly nodded towards her. He seemed a little irritated that Pam had come to help but never the less he strode over towards me and Alexa. 

"Tom what are you doing? why are you protecting her? She's a filthy mudblood who needs to be taught a lesson!" Walburga screeched Pam giggled slightly reminding her of our potion lesson together. 

"Yes what are you doing?" Alexa spoke up. 

"I'm here to help my new potions buddy."

 "And I'm here because I'm a prefect and duels on hogwarts grounds is agents the rules." 

Pamella and Alexa both burst out laughing clutching their waists. "Ss-sure you are" Pam managed to make out before resuming her laughing fit.  "I should take off houses  points you know"

 "Dddd- do it then" Alexa stammered wiping the tears in her eyes. 

"Tom please Don't do this she's not worth it" Walburga said mesmerised but Tom. 

"shut you ugly ass face Black, how many times do you need to be reminded! He doesn't want you!" Pam sniggered and Alexa burst into her second laughing fit.

 "Don't tell me what to do you filthy little mudblood!" 

"I'd rather be a mudblood than get get rejected by someone for 6 years" I could her Alexa trying to steady her breathing but it was no use Pam had sent her over the edge.

 "You'll pay for that Bitch, Reducto "

 "Relashio"

 "Protego"

 "Expeliarmus"

 "Stupify" Spells were being shot left, right and centre by everyone except myself and Walburga who's eyes were locked on mine. "Crucio" Walburga screamed aiming the curse at me.
