Jax was asleep on the bed. Abel was sitting next to him. He had a cast around his arm and a bandage around his head.
Abel shook Jax " Dada? Wake up, Dada. "
Jax groaned as he opened his eyes " Hey, buddy. How you feeling? "
Abel " I'm hungry. "
Jax sat up, nodding " Okay. What do you feel like having?"
Abel "Cookies. "
Jax smiled, nodding " Good choice. Chocolate chip, a little milk on the side? "
Abel nodded.
Jax nodded and gave him a kiss on the head "Coming right up."
Then he got off the bed and looked at me.
I smirked "Wake up, daddy"
Jax chuckled and leaned down to kiss me.
I kissed him back.
At the club.
I saw Chibs sitting outside with the others.
Chibs had gone missed after he was supposed to take care of Franke.
I smirked " Hey. The prodigal Scot. "
Chibs hugged me.
Me "Oh, man."
Jax hugged him " Thank God you're all right, man."
Me " What happened? "
Chibs "Frankie, he dumped me out on the 99. I really thought he was gonna put a bullet in the back of my head. Some trucker found me. "
Then he took his hat off "check this out"
I looked at the sewing on his skill and grimaced "jesus"
Jax "Did you see anything? "
Chibs put his hat on" Too dark. White SUV. I couldn't see faces, plates. Somebody's helping him. "
Clay walked to us.
Happy walked to us from another side.
Bobby "Seems to be heading north, maybe breaking for Canada. "
Happy shook his head " No, Tahoe. Just talked to Quinn. He found Frankie. "
Jax "Well, let's go. Come on. "
At Church.
Happy " Quinn says Frankie's in South Tahoe. Hooked up with Leo Pirelli's crew. "
