1.23 Caught In The Act

Night. At the station.

Jax and i were in the car with Unser.

Unser "Dispatch is in a separate office. She won't hear us. Get to the cells through the back door. "

I nodded "kay"

Unser "that's our cue"

I looked at the station and saw several cops rushing out.

Then several cars drove away.

Jax "okay. let's go"

I nodded and we got out of the car and walked inside to the cells.

Unser handed me the keys and i opened the first door.

Cherry jumped up when she saw us "Holy Shit"

Jax signaled to her that she should keep quiet.

I opened the door and rushed over to Luann "Hey, Luann"

Luann "what are you doing here?"

Me "we think the feds are pressing Otto"

Luann sighed and nodded "Something's going on. they're letting me see him tomorrow"

Jax "you gotta get a message to him. They're trying to use the RICO act against the club. You gotta tell Otto he can't give them any info, all right? Nothing. No matter how small or old"

Luann sighed, shaking her head "shit, okay"

Me "you all right?"

she nodded "I'll survive"

Then i looked at Cherry "You, what are they asking you?"

Cherry "Selena, Jax, you guys gotta take me with you, please"

Jax shook his head "we can't"

Cherry "That bitch wants to sent me back to Nevada. I'm gonna do hard time, like a hundred goddamn years. I can't do that. You mom's right. I'll rat if i stay n here. I'll rat! Come on! please. Please take me with you"

Jax looked at me and i looked at him.

Then i opened the door to her cell.

Jax "just shut up"

She walked out "come on"

Then we walked into the hallway.

Unser's jaw dropped when he saw Cherry "whoa, whoa, whoa. Where the hell you going with her?!"

I cosed the door to the cells.

Jax "We gotta take this one with us"

Unser "You're breaking her out?"

I nodded "pretty much"

Cherry "hey, aren't you the police chief?"

Unser nodded "i got no idea what i am anymore"

Me "He's a friend"

Jax "now put her in the van. I'm gonna check your office, see what i can find"

He and i walked to Unser's office.

I froze when i heard moaning coming from behind that door.

Jax and i looked at each other and he opened he door a bit.

Stahl was sitting there moaning "oh, jesus. Oh, god"

She leaned back moaning and suddenly Hale stood up from under the table, he was half naked.

My jaw dropped and i looked at Jax who smirked.

Stahl stood up and opened Hale's zipper "now it's my turn"

I pulled Jax out with me.

Next day. At the clubhouse.

Happy and his charter were saying goodbye.

Clay "Our cargo's doubled. We got two heading out. Chief Unser here has been kind enough to supply us with a truck. "

Unser handed Happy some papers "shipping manifests for two pallets of electronics. 180 pounds and 98 pounds"

Clay "that oughta get you and the cargo across the Canadian border without a stop"

Happy nodded "perfect"

Clay went to hand Happy his money.

Happy shook his head "that is my gift to you. you know my mom's real sick. She's in a home in Bakersfield. I'm thinking about going nomad. i can spend some more time with her"

I looked at him surprised.

Clay "you know there's always a seat at the table for you, my brother"

He hugged Happy.

Happy "thanks, man"

Then he hugged Bobby "thank you, Bobby"

Tig "you let us know if your mom needs anything, killer"

He hugged him.

Happy "thanks, Tig"

I looked at him and and nodded.

Happy "let's head out, guys!"

He and his guys walked out to the bikes. I followed him and we stopped at his bike.

Me "a nomad, hm?"

Happy nodded and leaned against his bike "yeah, why not?"

I smiled and kissed him "it was always a pleasure, Hap"

Happy nodded "like always"

He put an arm on my waist and the other one on my ass "what is going on with you and the V.P?"

I shrugged "i don't know, why?"

Happy "Last night-"

I shook my head "don't.I don't wanna hear it"

Happy "you have feelings for him"

I sighed "Hap-"

Happy chuckled "it's okay. It's okay. No strings attacked, babe, remember?"

I nodded.

Happy "you should figure some things out first with him"

I nodded "i will"

Happy looked at something behind me and Jax was standing there with Tara, Gemma, Cherry and the Irishman.

I raised an eyebrow at Jax's stare.

Happy removed his hands from me and called out "come on, let's go, guys!"
