"Congrats"

At the clubhouse.

The Russians had captured Jax and Opie. Thank god Bobby and Clay went after them and got them back.

They pulled up in the parking lot.

Tara jumped up "Jax"

Then she rushed over to him and hugged him.

I looked down.

Lyla hugged Opie.

We walked into the Clubhouse.

Everything was smashed.

me "What the hell?"

Clay "you get a crew in here tomorrow, start fixing it up"

Suddenly Tara called out "i have some good news"

She held her hand up "we're engaged"

My jaw dropped.

Everyone clapped.

Tara pulled Jax in for a kiss.

The boys around me tensed. They were all waiting for my reaction.

Jax and Tara turned to me.

I fake smiled "Congrats"

Then I hugged Tara and whispered in her ear "well played"

She tensed.

Outside.Night.

I was on my way to my bike when I saw Tara standing there.

Me "The hell do you think you are? Get your Ass off my bike. Now"

Tara looked at me and got off my bike "You happy'?"

I shook my head "to be honest no"

Tara "Let him in peace"

I scoffed, amused "are you serious?"

Tara "You lost, Sel, get that in your head"

I shook my head "I dumped him, Tara, not the other way around so I'd be careful if I were you. I must say I'm impressed, kinda"

She raised an eyebrow "why?"

Me "You played dirty, the kind of dirty I would've done"

She shook her head.

I nodded "You knew you lost him the second Jax and I got on that plane to Ireland. You just couldn't live with the fact that he chose me over you when we were in Ireland. So you snapped and waited to tell him about the pregnancy till it was too late for an abortion"

She scoffed, shaking her head "that's not true"

I nodded "it is.And if you think he asked you to marry him because he loves you then you are fooling yourself"

Tara  "What other reason would there be for him to ask me to marry him if not for love?"

I shrugged "Maybe because I dumped him while he was in prison and because I told him that I would never forgive him for that baby. He didn't want to be alone so he chose the next best thing"

Tara asked confused "You don't forgive him for a baby? He and I were still together when I got pregnant, Selena, don't forget that"

I nodded "I know but I wasn't talking about you getting pregnant while you and him were still together. I 'm talking about the fact that he knew but didn't tell me. Instead he kept it to himself. He should've told me. That was the mistake he did that killed our relationship"

She nodded "Well, it was none of your business"

I scoffed "it was since he and I were starting something""

Tara shook her head "but not anymore"

I raised an eyebrow.

Tara "and I want you to stay away from him. Avoid him at all cost"

I scoffed, shaking my head "you're kidding"

She shook her head "I'm not"

I nodded "you must be or else you're just stupid"

Tara took a step to me "stay away from Jax"

I eyed her amused "Who do you think you are, hun?"

Tara "The future wife of you VP"

I asked amused "and you think I give a fuck about that? Huh?"

Tara "careful-"

I shook my head "no, you should be careful, sweetie. I'm only gonna say this once, okay? I've got more fucking right to be here than you. My father was one of the Founding 9, I was raised within these walls. I am a fucking member of this club which means this is my house. You're just an old lady with no voice in my house. You respect a son in his own house or you will regret it, old lady"

Suddenly she went to slap me but I dodged and slapped her back.

She gasped and put a hand on her cheek.

Me "You're lucky I didn't use my fist, you little bitch"

Suddenly Jax and the others rushed out.

I sighed "Here we go"

Jax walked over to us and asked pissed off "What the hell is going on here?!"

Tara "she slapped me!"

Jax asked me "is that true?"

Me "Jax, i was only defending myself"

Jax "what the hell is wrong with you?"

I said irritated "she went to slap me, Jax! It was self-defense"

He shot me a look.

Me "she came at me! She provoked me and I snapped! "

Everyone was watching us.

Then I looked at her "what'd you expect would I do? Huh? Give you a kiss?"

Jax "doesn't matter what she did or not. She's the VP's fiancée."

Me "she disrespected me on my property. This is my house too, Jax, and an old lady has to respect a Son"

Jax "You could've reacted differently. "

I asked irritated "do you even know me, Jax? Maybe if you had knocked her up AGAIN I wouldn't have slapped her because I don't lay hand on a pregnant woman!"

He froze. His eyes just went from Blue to fire red.

I just hit my own nerve.

Jax took a deep breath "you do realize I can't leave this unpunished"

I nodded "you can"

He shot me a look.

I shook my head "You're not gonna punish me."

Jax said amused "oh really"

I nodded "Yes"

Jax "how can you be so sure?"

I smiled "Because I didn't slap my boss' fiancée. I slapped my ex boyfriend's fiancée"

He froze.

Then I smirked "and you and I both know that no one will believe that you're not using your status as an opportunity to punish me."

His jaw clenched.

I took a step further to "so what now, boss? Are you going to punish me or not?"

He growled "I don't wanna see you for the rest of the night, Selena"

I smirked "is that what you want?"

He didn't say anything.

I nodded, smiling "As you wish, boss"

Then I walked over to Happy, grabbed his arm and walked with him inside.
