Sookie P.O.V
Pam took a serious risk in assuming the barrier would hold up. Luckily, she was right. I couldn't imagine how pissed Eric & Bill would be after recovering. But, I was worried for Jason. Marnee had dragged us back inside so soon after the blast. It was so important that we stop Marnee as soon as possible.
"Did you see that?" Marnee asked us as she threw us towards Holly
"They don't care about you. And no negotiating with them. They see it as a weakness. I am not weak." Marnee stated
"You sure as shit ain't. You fried that one fanger like a moth in a bug zapper. that was fucking awesome." Roy hyped her up as they high-fived
"Yeah." She mumbled as we all nervously stared at her
Lafayette P.O.V
I was ignoring my fears as I stayed with Jesus in the bathroom. The building shaking didn't help. I mentally cussed out Eric & Bill for nearly ruining our ingredients. It was like they had a knack for making motherfucking awful situations far more worse than they were.
"Casey's death won't be in vain. Her body will amplify the magic." Jesus said as he crushed up some things
"So we're lucky Marnee killed her?" I asked
"Yeah. More birch bark." He asked which I handed over
"With Maria, I'll have another boost. I can feel her magic radiating off her. It's crazy powerful. Darkness & light melting together. That's some rare stuff." He said
"I guess that explains why she was always so intimidating." I laughed
"Light that candle. Bring it over to me." He focused
"Lafayette. Where I'm going right now. It's deep. And you may hear & see things that you really don't want to." He cautioned me
"Well, that ship has done sailed." I reminded him
"Listen to me. I'm going to be using a very dark part of myself. However, I may talk to you, whatever you may see. Please do not take it personally." He strongly warned
"Is that motherfucking demon face gonna come back?" I realised
"It's part of my family's magic. It might manifest. I just don't know." He explained
He pulled the knife out of Casey. It was hard to watch as he jimmied it out.
"Take it." He said
"I don't want that." I grimaced
"Take it." He hissed
I did & held it far away from me. He dug into her wound with his index finger. After covering it in blood, he began marking his chest & chanting in Spanish. He sucked a bit & looked like he was going to puke. But, he straightened up & puffed out his chest.
Eric P.O.V
After the blast, Maria & Sookie were taken back inside. Thanks to Pam we were back to square 0 as they were at Marnee's mercy. I was rightfully pissed as I healed & came to.
"You disobeyed me." I glared at her
"You saw Maria. She was begging you to stop. I couldn't lose you." She argued
"You could have killed her!" I shouted as she took away my last bit of my patience
"I'm sorry. I thought..." She whimpered
"Not another fucking word. I don't care how indestructible you think she is. If you try testing that out again, I will chain you up & let you rot away." I growled before storming off
