It felt amazing to scare the undead out of Bill. He was always wary of me due to my age. But tonight proved that I still had a nasty bite. Lillith's blood was enough to make him on par with me strength-wise. But, I still had other powers like this to pull out of my sleeve. It was instances like this that made me thankful for my darker heritage.

"So, you 2 have been causing a ruckus like usual. I swear I can never leave at this rate." I chastised them from inside while my men secured the area

"At this point, I'd say it's tradition." Sook lightly joked as we sat in the living room

"Sorry for trashing the house. I was trying my best to get him out. But, Lillith's blood with his own age made it a little difficult." I apologised as I finally noticed the damage, especially the wrecked foyer

"I'm really surprised her blood made it that tough. Normally, nothing really makes you struggle." Sook nervously noted

"Seriously, how did Bill nearly get you?" Jason asked

"Lillith's blood helped give him physically equal footing. She was one of the early vampires. Like me, she's descended from demons but her ancestors were minor players." I quickly explained

"Normally, her diluted bloodline & being my junior by 100 years wouldn't be enough to make me struggle. Bill's natural age helped her get a small strength boost. Sorry for the dents & the table legs in the wall." I finished recapping

"If he tries coming back, will you be able to handle him? It looks like he gave you a run for your age." Sook worried

"I swear to God. I'll do anything to protect both of you. As long as I'm 'alive', he won't touch a hair on you." I assured them & gingerly held their hands

"Sookie, Jason..." a stranger gasped with Captain Abney & a couple of grunts following

I quickly stood up & hissed at him. He was an older man with light eyes. His scent was clearly fae & familiar. He jumped a bit at my response which was natural. But, I was surprised when he straightened up so confidently. It was as if he was fairly certain I wouldn't kill him. I got my answer for his cocky attitude when he was quickly joined by ghosts. My heart stopped at the sight of a bloody miracle. I was taking a double check as I saw my great Aunt & Uncle in the flesh.

"Aunt Lungile, Uncle Phila?" I stuttered

"Hi Isisia. You've grown up a bit." Aunt Lungile smiled as tears bubbled up

With the mention of my old nickname, I was confident that they were real. I ran forward & cried into their shoulders. They held me tight, assuring me that I wasn't hallucinating. Our tight embrace gave me a better sniff of their scents. It was unmistakable as my Aunt smelled like sunshine & cinnamon while Uncle Phila was toasted nuts & the ocean.

I felt so happy to have them back after over 5,000 years of mourning. Liyana, Nofoto & I assumed their brother joined in. I clung to Nofo after all the horrible memories of that night came back. I couldn't believe anything as I so vividly remembered cradling what I thought were the scorned bits of her 4-year-old body. It took us a long while to get our emotions calm & able to speak. The Captain took the initiative to stay on standby on the porch and to give me privacy as I began to collect myself. Once I was ok, we moved into the dining room for a needed sit down. My Aunt & Uncle sat next to me. Liya, Nofo, Langa, Sookie, Jase & the stranger fanned out among the remaining seats.

"Auntie Lu, Uncle Phi, Liya & Nofo. I can't believe you're actually alive. I swear I tried to check what..what was identifiable of the bodies. I swear I wouldn't have assumed if I had known." I apologised
