After Bills breakup, Sookie was an absolute mess. She had really fallen hard for him, only to be so cruelly tossed away. I really hoped that it was just an act to save her life. The only way I could have protected Sook was going full vamp. I wasn't ready to lose my secret just yet.

It was the weekend so I was enjoying the porch. The nighttime breeze felt nice. Like always, I was multitasking while being on guard duty. After a couple hours, I sensed someone coming. In a second, I had my pistol raised & ready.

"I mean no harm. I wanted to tell Sookie the truth. If you will allow me please?" Bill pleaded with his arms raised

"About damn time. Its up to her though, especially after last week. Stay here." I growled before using my telepathy

Sook, come to the door please. Bill needs to talk to you.

Tes, theres no way I'm speaking to him. Not after he broke my heart.

Please listen to him. He has something important to tell you. It's something hes been hiding from you for a while. Trust me its worth it. Besides, I have him at gun point. Say the word & hes nothing but goo. Unless you want him torn to bits.

Ugh, fine. I believe you. Really?! Thanks, I love you. The goo is fine if it gets to that. I'll be down soon.

Haha, yuup. Love you too. Aww, you took the boring route. Make him pay.

"Will she speak to me?" Bill tentatively asked from the driveway

"Surprisingly yes." I answered as Sook opened the front door. She stayed behind the screen door for protection.

"What do you want Bill?" Sookie annoyingly asked

"I wanted to tell you the truth about my intentions. We didn't meet on accident." Bill said as I lowly growled at him

"Wait, you coming to my work was intentional?! Why?" Sookie frantically demanded

"I would prefer to discuss this inside. Away from possible prying ears. Its too important for your safety." Bill urged

"Hell no! You aren't stepping one foot in my house." Sookie yelled

"Sook! Let him explain. If he needs to stay it indoors then there's a good reason. I'll be right next to you." I commanded her

"Fine." Sook huffed before stomping to the living room

"Please come in Bill." I threatened him as I shoved him inside. My gun was pointed at his heart as I kept it between his ribs. I led him to the couch before sitting next to sook, my aim unwavering.

"What's so damn special about me?" Sookie sternly asked

"You're not human. That's the reason why you're so different from everyone. This supernatural side gives you your powers & makes you tasty to vampires. Around the world, we have territories that are governed by a high ranking vampire: king or queen. In the U.S, there's a ruler for each state. The queen of Louisiana, my ruler, ordered me to find you. She told me where to find you from a trusted source." Bill revealed

"Why does she want me?" Sookie shakily asked

"For your gifts. She knows that you're a telepath. To know others thoughts would be a great advantage for her. No one would be able to keep a secret. You would also be an irreplaceable trophy." Bill elaborated

"You only befriended me & started a relationship to deliver me to your queen in a nice red bow!" Sook angrily shouted

"At first, yes. But I couldn't do such after you showed me such kindness & love. For the first time in more than 100 years, I felt a sliver of my humanity again. I had to protect you which is why I cut all communication. She may send someone else but thankfully she hasn't." Bill heartfeltfully replied
