Treachery for All (5x07)

Eric P.O.V

After killing Roman, the Authority went into lockdown. I ran for Russell. He wasn't getting away from me after all that work. I knocked him down but Russell used my momentum to reverse our positions.

"You and me together at last." He smiled 

I snarled back revealing my new eyes & fangs. He was surprised for a moment which I used to push him off. It was then that the lights cut out. 

Thanks to Maria, I could actually go toe to toe. We were thrashing the room as we fought. Everything was being used as a weapon to knock us down. I had to watch him carefully. He wasn't going to win because I was too hot-headed. I was doing well until he jabbed a piece of furniture in my knee. 

I hissed in pain & pulled it out. But, he used the distraction to pin me on a pillar with a silver noose. He left me to boast in the centre of the room. I began to wiggle out & snuck up behind him. I tightly secured it around his neck before hanging him from the lights. The guard finally came in & returned the lights just in time to see my handiwork.

"That's a spectacular sight." I chuckled as Bill walked over

Maria P.O.V

Finding the fae was crazy. They were hiding in a shielded tent. We had to pull Jason through. When we got inside, it was like a cabaret show. It didn't take long to find Hadley as she served drinks. We quickly confronted her about staying here & how a vampire killed their parents. The fairies didn't like us asking questions & soon zapped Sook. 

"Piss off before I drain the lot of you!" I growled as I conjured a ball of dark magic 

"Your highness please. We do not want to hurt you or your family." the bartender begged

"Well, you knocked her out. What else am I supposed to think?!" I growled

"We only did it to calm her. I'm sorry for overdoing it." He apologised

"Let's make sure you didn't do more damage." I sighed as I picked her up

"Yes. Of course. You can use this room." He nervously stuttered as he led me to a private room

He & his sister followed us in. I laid her on the lounge chair. He stood at her head to monitor her thoughts. I knelt by her side while Jason paced behind me. Claude's sister stayed by her feet as she zapped her. 

"You're supposed to be helping her. Not zapping her again." Jason chided 

"We are helping her. We're testing her luminescence." He explained

"Listen, I ain't been to med school or med school or nothin'. So if you could put it into terms a layman could understand, I'd appreciate it." Jase said to Claude

"I'm going to send my light through her. If the light within her is strong, my light will pass through her body unhindered." Claude's sister explained

"Well, send it on through." Jase agreed

We watched as Claude's light travelled up through Sook's body. But, it lingered at her head. This wasn't normal. My fae knowledge was very limited. I had spent my entire life ignoring it. All to be the perfect vampire my father deserved. 

"Was it? Was that bad? Cause her head lit up real good I thought." Jase nervously asked

"Wake her up." Claude instructed to his sister

"Where am I?" Sook asked after getting zapped in the chest

"You're safe." His sister replied 

"Like hell I am. You're one of the bitches that zapped me. And you, ain't much better." Sook scowled at both of them
