Sookie P.O.V

We followed Eric into the house & saw him facing off with a wolf. Maria (Tes) had her gun aimed as did I with Terry's revolver. I quickly fired my shot for its head. It would have landed if Eric hadn't jumped in front of the bullet. He landed on the ground from my injury as the wolf dove over him.

Eric's blood distracted him from going after us. He changed back & tried to get some blood. Luckily, Eric still had enough strength to hold him back. Maria kept her aim tight as we watched them.

"Stay back, Sookie. Don't shoot him. He knows." He ordered

"He knows what?" I asked as I tried not to panic

"Who do you work for?" Eric interrogated the wolf

"Give me a taste, fucker. Come on." the wolf begged like an addict

"Who sent you?" He yelled as his grip tightened

"I can't. I can't talk." He gurgled

Eric let go off him but that was a mistake. He dove for his wound but got thrown into the ceiling by Maria/ Tes. She was keeping her vamp side hidden & was using her powers from her other side.

Eric was surprised by her telekinesis but was thankful for the save. She focused on the wolf & sent him back onto the floor. He was terrified of her & tried to run for it. But, I aimed for his left leg & got him in his calf. Eric pounced on him & held him against the rug.

"For the last time: Who is your master?" Eric growled as he kept his neck exposed

"Think you can mad-dog me, you fucking fanger? You got nothing on Jackson." he thought

"If I tell you, I'm as dead as you are. You might as well kill me now." He refused

"As you wish." Eric snarkily replied before he probably noticed the brand. He got immediately enraged & ripped out his neck, letting blood gush over the rug & front entrance.

"I got your rug all wet." He laughed

Maria swatted him for his carelessness before grabbing some towels. He helped her clean the blood & just sop it up. Erik grabbed the body & took it to the cemetery. We followed him to a fresh grave which he dug up & tossed the body in.

"Fresh graves are ideal for disposing of an unwanted body. The ground's already disturbed, so no one would think to dig again." He morbidly instructed as he recovered it

"So much for keeping the wolf alive so we could question him." Sookie commented

"Well, that's what I was planning." He snapped

"But then you saw his brand." I noted

"Brings back many memories. Unpleasant ones." He harshly explained as he restaked the wreath

"You have no concept of how dangerous werewolves are. They're virtually silent. They have no fear of death. And when they've had a bit of vampire blood, their strength can be a challenge. Even for someone as old as me." He glared

"Thanks for saving our lives." I thanked him

"How's your bullet wound?" Maria smirked
