The night turned out to be much better than they both expected, Carina and Maya continued to dance together while sharing little caresses and kisses. Andrea from a distance watched the scene between the two and couldn't help but smile seeing his sister so happy and of course because he was taking credit for what was happening. He waited a moment and decided it was time to retire and let the two girls enjoy their little bubble.

- Well my work here is done so I'll go now.  He said as he approached the girls to say goodbye. 

- Have fun and don't stay up too late. He walked away as he winked and let out a mischievous giggle causing Carina to roll her eyes.

- Well I think we should go too. Maya said as she grabbed Carina by the waist and pulled her closer. 

- You want me to drop you off at your hotel, my car is outside. Carina asked as she wrapped her arms around Maya's neck.

- No!

- No?

- No, I have a better idea. She said as she gave her a little kiss on the lips. - You don't have to make another trip when we can both go to your place and let me stay with you, what do you think?

- Mmmm yeah, I think that's the best idea you've had all night.

- No, the best was when I decided to take you away from that boy who wouldn't keep his hands off you and I dared to kiss those beautiful lips.

- You are full of good ideas.

Carina took Maya by the hand and they headed for the car and Carina's house. Upon entering the house, Maya immediately grabbed Carina by the waist and pressed her against the door, pulling their bodies together and giving her a passionate kiss that left them both breathless.

- Someone is pretty excited. Carina said as they broke apart to catch their breath.

- I told you I've wanted to kiss you ever since I first saw you and now that I can I'm not going to stop. Again they joined their lips, but this time the kiss was slower and more tender, while their hands gently caressed each other, discovering every curve and detail of the other's body.

Without realizing it, they were moving away from their previous position to settle on the sofa that was a few meters away. Their lips never parted at any point. Carina pushed Maya down on the couch, positioning herself right on top of her and moving the kisses to her neck, an act that Maya happily received by moving her head slightly to give Carina more space. They stayed like that for a few minutes, between kisses and caresses.

- Carina... Maya murmured between kisses while the other gently brushed her abdomen, over her dress.

- Is everything all right? Carina asked worriedly, stopping her caresses completely.

- Perfect, but... I think we should stop. It's just that I don't think I'm ready, yet.  Maya doubted her words, she was having an amazing time but she had never been with a woman before and the fear of completely ruining the moment or her relationship with Carina paralyzed her.

- It's okay. She said giving her a small kiss on the lips. - I can wait.

Carina got up from the couch and headed to the kitchen for a glass of water, offering one to Maya who gladly accepted. She took Maya by the hand and they headed to her room, Carina lent her some shorts and a t-shirt so she could change and sleep at ease. Meanwhile, Carina went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, remove her makeup and put on her pajamas. Minutes later they were both lying on the bed, Maya resting on Carina's chest hugging her waist, while Carina gently caressed her back.

- I could get used to this. Maya said, raising her head slightly to look the Italian directly in the eyes.

- Me too. Why do you have to go, can't you stay the rest of your trip here with me?

- Let's not think about it, let's enjoy the days we have left and then we'll see what to do.

They stayed like that for a while in silence, enjoying each other's company, until they both fell asleep.
The next morning Maya woke up expecting to see Carina by her side to hug her and stay like that for a while, but to her surprise there was no trace of her in the room. So she decided to get up, went to the bathroom to do her hygiene routine and then left the room in search of Carina. When she peeked into the kitchen she noticed Carina preparing breakfast, still in her pajamas and with her hair tousled as she danced around the kitchen to the beat of her favorite Italian music. Maya couldn't help but smile as she admired the scene, thinking how lucky she was to have met the Italian that day at the restaurant. She slowly approached and hugged Carina from behind, causing the other to jump in fright since she hadn't noticed her presence. 

- Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. She kissed her on the cheek - What are you doing? I was hoping to wake up in your arms and it turns out I woke up in an empty bed.

- Don't pout, I'm making breakfast. French toast, my favorite. She said as she fed her a piece of the toast.

- Mmmmm yeah, this is better than waking up with you holding me.

- Hey!

- Seriously, I don't understand how you're not cooking in the best restaurants in Italy. I mean, it's just that everything you do is incredibly delicious, you have a natural gift.

- I told you it was a long story. It's been a long time since I've felt this good cooking for someone else.

- I know and I'm willing to listen to it whenever you feel comfortable. This time she gave her a tender kiss on the lips, showing her with that gesture that no matter what she was there to support her.

- Do you have plans for today?

- I was thinking of walking around a bit going to see places I haven't been able to visit yet, but I'd rather spend more time with you.

- I have to go to the restaurant to see some administrative matters, but after that we can go for a walk together and see those places you want to visit. What do you think?

- Pecfect!

They finished breakfast and Maya went to her hotel to change clothes and get ready for her afternoon walk, but not before calling Vic to tell her the news.

- Maya hi!

- Vic! I have good news.

- Please tell me you spoke to the Italian woman.

- Not only did I talk to her, I kissed her and it was the best kiss of my life. And then we went to her house and kissed some more and slept hugging and today she made me breakfast and I swear I couldn't be happier.

- That's my friend, I told you the Italian one was going to be crazy about you too and how could she not if you're such a ladies man.

- But I'm worried that it's too perfect to be true, you know that relationships don't work for me and I haven't had the best example of how to have a stable relationship. Besides, I don't have much time left here and what's going to happen when I leave. I told Carina not to think about it, but the truth is that I'm worried that she won't want to have something with me if I'm not in Italy or that she will forget about me and meet someone else, you should see her, she's so pretty that she could have anyone at her feet.

- Don't worry Maya, I'm sure you will find a solution. Now focus on having a good time with your girl and don't start creating crazy ideas in your head. And just because your parents' relationship has failed doesn't mean your relationships will too, get that idea out of your head at once.

- It's not that easy Vic, but thanks for the advice, I don't know what I would do without you.

- You'd be a sad and lonely person, because I'm the only one who can stand you.

- Shut up!

- You know I'm joking, but seriously go and have fun with Carina and I hope you send me a picture I'm dying to meet her.

The girls said goodbye and Maya continued with the rest of her plans. Meanwhile, Carina got ready at home to start the day, she had to be at the restaurant in an hour so she had enough time left to call Amelia and tell her about Maya and the amazing days they had spent.

- Ciao Amelia!

- Carina, at last you show up I thought your date the other day had kidnapped you, since you never called me to tell me how everything went and you don't answer my messages. If it wasn't for Andrea telling me you were fine, I would have already put a call in to the police.

- Nobody beats you when it comes to drama. Sorry for disappearing, but I just wasn't sure what was going on between Maya and I and if I told you I would get my hopes up and I didn't want to get my hopes up about something that might have just been in my head.

- So Maya huh, that's the name of the mystery date and the one responsible for my friend completely ignoring me. I hope she's at least hot because if she's not I swear I'll stop talking to you for a month so you'll feel what I felt.

- Amelia! You really are a pain in the ass.

- But that's how you love me. Now tell me everything, you've kept me waiting for a long time and I want to know about that Maya.

Carina told Amelia everything, every detail from when they met at the restaurant to the breakfast they had just shared. Amelia as always making the funniest and most inappropriate comments she could think of. That's how she was and it was one of the things Carina appreciated most about her friend, the sincerity and humor with which she faced life. Time flew by as she chatted with Amelia and when she realized she only had 15 minutes left to get to the restaurant, luckily the restaurant was close to her house and it wouldn't take her more than 10 minutes to get there. 

When she entered the restaurant the first thing she thought of was Maya and how lucky she was to find her there that day, sitting alone at that table. She couldn't help but think about how in such a short time of knowing her, the blonde had achieved something she never imagined. Ever since she met Maya, when she entered the kitchen the sadness she felt when she remembered her mother and everything she went through after her death had diminished and she was invaded by the joy she felt when she saw Maya smile and the pride she felt every time the blonde praised one of her dishes. She was sure that Maya was special, much better than any boy or girl she had ever dated and she didn't mind maintaining a long distance relationship if it meant that Maya was going to be part of her life. 

Thanks for the comments. I wanted to publish a new chapter yesterday for Valentine's Day, but I couldn't. So I leave you two new chapters today.
