Chapter 13

Hueningkai had been right when he said Soobin is going to get beaten up next day. Ara literally chased Soobin away from the house with a ladle.

Hueningkai also learned the damage culinary could make in this process. Soobin was drenched with sweat as he ran out. The scene was hilarious to say the least, Soobin's dad was laughing hysterically finding joy in his son's misery. Ara only rolled her eyes and pulled Hueningkai away.

The wedding was scheduled at the evening. They had a lot of work to do. Soobin was only going to distract them if he was present. Hueningkai called Yeonjun,Beomgyu and Taehyun to ask them to keep Soobin company.

Later Ara rushed him the parlour to doll him up. They went to the boutique again to retrieve the suit after alteration. Ara was visibly stressing out, So Hueningkai took her hand and squeezed it gently.

"It is going to be alright Ara" He said in a comforting manner. "I know honey, but I am more worried about that Mina girl...Even if Soobin scolded her and all, he still loves her, maybe a week would be the most he would manage to stay angry with her." She said creases of worry appearing on her forehead. " I don't want him to use you as a rebound Darling, You don't deserve it." Her voice was a mere pained whisper when she finished.

Hueningkai stood motionless, he knew Ara was right Soobin is only using him as a rebound, Soober or later Mina would be back. Then why was he indulging into this false hope finding happiness in the fantasy. Maybe because he never knew what genuine affection or love was.

Pathetic.

Well he has nothing to lose so he would let him enjoy Soobin's false attention until the reality strikes him. That's how desperate he was to cling on the plastic feeling. With that thought he gave Ara a melancholy smile.

"Thank you Ara, I appreciate your concern, But I am aware." Hueningkai gulped thickly before continuing "I am only gonna enjoy it while it lasts and imprint it in my memory, the only real happiness I will have....it might not be the same for Soobin but that's ok, I am used to being ignored and alone anyway." Ara was full on sobbing by the time he finished.

She pulled him closer for a hug muttering how sorry she was and how he did not deserve any of this. Hueningkai only sighed and nuzzled deeper into her comforting embrace.

"I will always be there for you darling, I will stand by you no matter what." She said brokenly. That's when Hueningkai shed a tear, letting his guard fall only for a split second before going back to keeping an impassive face.

"Thank you , In one way or the other i am glad I found you." He said. They parted slowly and the whole fitting was gloomy. Even the Shop manager noticed it but he chose silence. Ara and Hueningkai got the suit in about two hours of waiting.

Ara was furious since she still had to get ready and make sure Hueningkai was ready and they had to arrive at the hall before an hour. She cursed at the poor manager who only bowed repeatedly muttering excuses and apologies.

Hueningkai and Ara hurried to a restaurant to have food, later Hueningkai had to get ready he was already nervous. And the clock ticking did not really help him. They went for a simple lunch and started eating.

Hueningkai met Eunwoo at the exit, he instantly wore a bright smile and greeted him. Eunwoo and Hueningkai chatted for a bit about favorite animal and such. Hueningkai also enquired about the wolf. With the promise they parted ways, Hueningkai scurrying towards Ara who was calling out to him.

Soobin's breath was blown away when he gazed at the Floral themed hall. It was really pretty and as a nature lover he loved it. His friends had to literally push him to walk further as he eyes refused to move away from the breathtaking sight.
