Chapter 15: This Woman

Aurora and I have been together for about six months and we couldn't be more happier.
She starts university next week and that made her a totally excited bubble. She never stops talking about how excited she is to start and all the lectures that she will get to meet. We've gone shopping so many times that I lost count on how much money I spended on her. She refused even the smallest ammount of money but somehow I convinced her to let me buy just a little. During shopping she got so excited she didn't notice me paying more than I should have and her ammount that she paid was quite lesser.

Her parents finally accepted me, which was a relief. I still sometimes can't wrap my head around the fact that the are werewolfs, especially the Black family. Xavier made me swear a blood oath which means the moment I spill their existence to someone else, I die. Atleast I am good at keeping secrets.
I mean it's a whole new universe that opened up to me, it's bizarre, but what can I do. I also gained more bussines from Xavier because I know what they are and that is a big plus and knowing them and dating one of the higher pack members, as he put it. I didn't even know Aurora was a highrank pack member.

Aurora really bonded with the mafia crew I must say that surprised me the most, she trains with them everyday and she earned her title as my Donna as they would call her.
We get together as a gang atleast once a month as per her request so we all get to bond. Which was actually the best thing she could have done. It made everyone much more connected.

"Matty!" My darling girl screams from somewhere in the house. We are currently living in another house, not our private house at the moment. We like to keep that place for ourselves. "Ufficio amore mio." A few moments later she storms into my office with that sunshine smile of hers. "I've invited Nanika for a sleepover." I grab her hand and drag her till she is on my lap and I nuzzle my head in her neck, giving ker sweet kisses. "Does that mean I won't be next to you tonight?" I keep kissing her and she moans, quickly giving me a problem.
"It's only one night Matty. You'll be oky without me there to protect you."
I quirk my eyebrow, "Oh really."
She nodds and I begin to tickle her. "I'm not the one who needs to be protected am I?" Her laughter fills the room and it's music to my ears.
"Sei bellissima." I whisper in her ear and she blushes.
"Stoo making me blush Matteo." She mumbles and I kiss her nose. "Now why would I do that?"
She pouts, "I don't know." She mumbles.
"Well then don't let me keep you from your friend."
"Oky but we are going shopping."
She loves shopping. "Will you take my card then?" Knowing full well the answer.
"No Matty! I have my own money."
"I know, but I'd like to spoil you once in a while." Her arms wrap around my neck.
"Well then, make us dinner tonight."
She giggles, "So that is why you must impress me tonight with your best dish! I want to show you off and what better way to show you off than with cooking skills." Dear me and what I will for this woman.
"Alright, I'll try my best."

I take a deep breath when I left for the malls. My nerves where in a high for tonight. "So does he suspect anything?" Nanika ask and I shake my head.
"Not that he is letting on, no, but it isn't easy to keep something from him." I pout and she laughs.
"You're so smitten with him Rory, he might as well have been your mate." A smile appears on my face at the thaught of that. "Yeah he might as well have."
I look at the paper in my hands. Hopefully I'll get everything I need.

Trying to make something for Aurora to impress her friend with was harder than I expected. I didnt know what to make and I couldn't ask someone to make it because she will instantly  know. Dahm her.
"Hey Boss, why do you look so lost?" Luca enters the kitchen.
"Well I was instructed to make dinner tonight."
He lets out a smirk, "Since when do you follow orders."
"Since the order came from the Donna and I kind of value my life at the moment."
He laugs, "Yeah your woman is something else all right. She is scary with hand to hand combat and you would have never think that."
I think back on the video he showed me of her fighting the guys in the bathroom. I was completely shocked by it.
"And that is what makes her amazing."
Luca makes a gagging sound, "Please I am not ready for you to go all mushy, lovey-dovey on me." We laugh together. Neither one of us thaught that I would ever be in a relationship.
"Yeah, wait till you find someone."
He waves me off, "Nah you know I don't do that."
"Yet." He frowns at me and walks away.

Dinner is almost ready and I really hipe she'll like it. I have prepared what I know I could not fail in making; Chicken Alfredo with spinach and mushrooms. I look at the time and I wonder where Aurora could be. She usually texted or called me by now.
I decided to call her, but she isn't answering her phone. After about ten rings she finally answered.
"Matty.."
"Don't Matty me, where are you I have been worried sick. Don't make me trace you and bring you back home." I interrupt her and I hear her giggle. "Aurora.."
"Oh Matty, I think you should trace my call and come and find me." and then she ended the call.
I quickly track her, just to end up confused. She was here in the house.
A message on my phone made me read it.
