Evidently, being famous also meant no privacy.

Our dinner at Ricochet Pizza quickly turned into a fan meeting as the customers of the restaurant recognised us and surrounded us with flashing cameras and posters in their hands. I tried to keep on a smile as I signed onto their desired items. Things like photo albums of the gang, random items like a piece of blank paper, and mostly, fan arts.

Despite the little headache caused by the boisterous and crammed atmosphere, I smiled wholeheartedly whenever I came across stunning art pieces made by many talented fans. Their drawings, paintings, abstracts of me and the Shane Gang were incredible and certainly made my day.

A young girl, seemingly slightly younger than me, came up to me and handed me a fan art. I gave her a heartening smile before I glanced at her work. My jaw dropped slightly when I processed what it was, certainly not something I was expecting to see.

The girl's painting portrayed Eli and I, as lovers. In the picture, my outfit was a tight-fitted, waitress-like baby pink mini dress, with white laces sewed on the tip of the sleeves and the sexy deep v-cut. Eli was wearing a short-sleeved, slightly loosened plain white t-shirt that showed off his muscles. I was sitting on Eli's lap, looking down at his stunning ocean blue eyes with luring eyes. He was looking up at me, our lips only inches apart.

I was at lost for words.

"I'm an Elessia fan!" the girl exclaimed and Eli, who was busy signing albums after albums beside me, turned to check out the situation when he heard the unwonted name. "I totally ship you guys together! You two are literally the perfect match for each other! The best slinger in Slugterra with the second best!"

I smiled fiddly at her as Eli gasped at the painted fan art. He rubbed the back of his neck shyly as I gulped, trying to think of a way to respond to her.

"I... uh... we... " I stumbled on my own words as I looked at Eli for help. We exchanged a glance and he seemingly understood my message.

He turned to the girl and smiled at her. "We're just friends," he explained briefly. "Yes! Just friends," I added, and faked a smile at the girl. A hint of disappointment bubbled up inside me at Eli's response, but I shook it off.

He was right. We were just friends.

"It's fine," the girl said with a beautiful smile. "I still ship you two. And believe me, one day, you two will get together, and I'll be as happy as a clam!"

Eli laughed sweetly at her reply and shook his head lightly. "You'll have to wait till forever for that to happen."

"We'll see," she said as her eyes landed on me. "But please, could you sign this for me?"

I forced out a smile as I looked down at her fan art once again, before signing it at the bottom right corner.

"Here you go," I said, and handed her art piece back to her. She examined it with a satisfying smile and mouthed a 'thank you' before she turned to Eli for his signature, which he hesitantly gave. With a huge grin, the girl walked out of the restaurant, mounted her Mecha Bull and headed off.
