It was supposed to be just another regular day. You, Akaashi, and Bokuto were all childhood friends since you all lived in the same neighborhood growing up. "Okay," Akaashi says firmly, setting down the remote. "What's wrong?"
"Wrong? Nothings wrong, why would you ask such a silly question? Everything is fine, it's great," you begin to ramble, laughing nervously.
"Y-Yeah, just super duper excited for the show," Bokuto agrees. The two of you make eye contact and then quickly turn your heads in the opposite direction, going back to your nervous ticks.
Akaashi stands up, putting both of his hands on his hips. "Did you guys get into an argument of some sort?"
"Umm, I guess you could call it that," Bokuto says hesitantly.
"Did you apologize?"
"It's not that easy," you try to explain but Akaashi just furrows his brows as the mediator.
"What did you do?" Akaashi says while eyeing Bokuto.
"Me?! Why do you suddenly accuse me!" Bokuto retaliates. "If anything-"
"What? It's my fault?!" You interject. "Did you forget what you did to me?!"
"Well if you had left me alone than it wouldn't have happened!"
"How was I supposed to know?!"
"I told you it was an accident anyways Y/N!" Bokuto pulls at his hair and you turn to face the opposite direction stubbornly.
Akaashi stands firm in his place, taking a deep sigh at the situation. He just wanted to watch this anime but it was clear he was going to have to wait. Growing up, little arguments never caused a fuss this big and Akaashi knew this was more than trivial. He rubs his palm into his forehead, thinking of what to do with the two of you. "I'm not entirely sure what happened but you two need to fix this. Whatever happened, apologize, an eye for an eye, I don't care. Just fix it."
"Akaashi wait-"
"And until you guys do what you need to do, I'm gonna go run to convenience store to get food. This all better be settled when I get back," he says sternly pointing at the two of you who were obviously stressed out by the situation. It was times like this that reminded you why you needed Akaashi in your life. Akaashi grabs his wallet and leaves and the two of you stare blankly as you hear the front door lock.
