The Mackers:
Alessandra's POV:
We all sat in the carriage to go to the castle my mother once again had a slight smirk on her face and so did my father. I just sat next to them with my brother trying to figure out what was happening with him so I once again asked him.
-Hey, are you okay? I whispered as quiet as possible.
-Yeah, I'm fine just like I told you before I'm nervous.
-Oh, okay. I said knowing that he was lying but I didn't wanna pressure him.
After a few minutes we arrived at the same palace I had seen as we were arriving to their town. We waited in a huge line of people, all from diffrent kingdoms. As we got closer I could hear a person announcing the names of the people one by one as they passed the front doors of the palace. Finaly our turn came, the announcer said our names:The Macker family with their son Cody and their daughter Alessandra. We walked down the stairs for the next person to come in, I really tried not to trip with my dress, as we were heading down, I saw her, the princess, she looked beautiful, so much that I thought I was dreaming cause how is it possible that a person is so mesmerizing she had blonde hair and hazel eyes that even though I was far away from her, I saw them shine, for a second I felt like we made eye contact. My mother scooted me so I would not trip and embarrass our family and ruin my brother's chances. She didn't say anything but I'm sure that's what she was thinking, so I looked my way I made it down the stairs surprisingly. Once everyone had entered, the king started talking:
-Thank you all for gathering here today, in the period of time you will all be staying at our town, my daughter Amelia will pick one man to marry and live her life with. With that being said I will let you all enjoy your night.
Everyone spread around some went to the buffet, some started talking.
Amelia's POV :
I saw every guy that went through the doors, everyone looked the same same hair, same style, same faces or at least that's what it looked like to me, through the crowd though i noticed a princess we made eye contact for a second but I didn't really pay attention to it. I sat and listened to my father's boring announcements the actual ball started I had to go down there to start talking with my supposedly future husband.
