Nivyen kept me company while I watched the face-off between Anyese Lytton and Bagwell. He was excited to see the dragon, and even more after seeing the creature beat up the scholar; the cavernous voice of Bagwell rumbled through our bodies as he, arrogantly, told her that she was still lacking the strenght needed to stand her ground against dragons.
"Granma Isa", he told me. "They say you're the Kingdom's Dragon Knight". I waited patiently for him to word his question. "Did you defeat Bagwell?"
After I told him the story he looked up at me, more serious than ever, and procclaimed that one day he would face and defeat Bagwell too. And also that he needed my help training him as the first step to do so.
I did him one better giving him the Dragoon Gun that my mother was presented with after she also defeated Bagwell.
