"To-Go"

"Confidence radiates within my tuxedo, as I step into the restaurant

I read the 'Seat Yourself' sign and carry on my way

Sitting in the nearest booth, fixing my bowtie, I pray I'm not coming off as arrogant

A hostess welcomes me. I compliment her, which probably just made her day

She asked me if I came alone

I said I did

'But,' I told her

You're are coming home with me.'

To hopefully ease her confusion, I pulled out a rose from my tuxedo pocket

'Whatcha say, can I order mine to-go"

The young lady failed to hide her blushing behind all her makeup

'I like your confidence,' she said

'We can give it a try. When I'm done working, of course.'

Smiling victoriously, I told her,

'I'll wait as long as it takes.'

She walked and blushed away... Remember that, love?"

Tears in her eyes, she grins and nods,

"In her white dress, she never looked more beautiful," I declare

She laughed and told me to shut up, which wasn't fair

But I did as I was told

Her stomach then growled so hard, it sounded through her soul

"She laughed again, " Want something to-go?"

"You bet your ass I do," as I swooped her off her feet and kissed her.
