Many groan at the thought of rain
But the precipitation-
Be it sprinkles or torrent,
Makes my day
The raindrops soothe my soul,
Calms the nerves
And showers the property clean
And you awake in the wee hours of the day
And the dewdrops freckle across the grass strands
Just a beautiful sight to behold
Simple, yes, but still a pleasant view
I dunno about you
But I like the rain
It's like liquid sunshine to me
Even in a big deluge(sometimes)
I dunno about you,
But I like the rain
