Hugging the air and all its inhabitants,
the tree is a friend to the woods
Providing shelter with its leave and greenery and branches
The tree is our guardian
With all the strength of its timber roots, and never lets go
Until the giants came and brought it all to the ground
Hitting the forest floor with a frightening pound
Against its will, it had to let us go, fly away elsewhere
Luckily, the giants left its heart in the soil
We watch the sapling grow
Until we get our friend back,
We will wait, however long it takes
(The theme here is deforestation)

Random Poetry Collection
PoetryThis is a collection of bad poetry I've managed to compose through the slurs of ink we've come to know as letters we form into what we know as language. The '*'s indicate that this poem is a little on the sad/darker side.
