Stumbling in the scary darkness
Wandering about in the endless abyss
Fear and melancholy is all that's felt
Giving up and facing reality,
sitting in the corner, facing the wall
Not wanting it all to end, because it's all that's familiar
Nothing new or foreign to clear up
Same old thing, same negative thoughts
An old friend
A clicking sound
Turning around
There is a stranger, who comes with a light switch
Scared, like a caveman discovering fire
I stick to the far side of the room
The stranger extends their hand, palms flat up
A signal for trust
Running to them
Smiling,
Hugging
Crying
No longer feel like dying
Hoping they aren't lying
Just to fall back into the abyss
For now smile plastered on face
Have experienced grace
Now full of faith,
I fly

Random Poetry Collection
PoetryThis is a collection of bad poetry I've managed to compose through the slurs of ink we've come to know as letters we form into what we know as language. The '*'s indicate that this poem is a little on the sad/darker side.
