The initiates are off to their race and I walk up to four.

"I don't want to carry this out eric. It'll ruin her." Four says shaking his head

"If she's what we think she is it won't." I say sitting against a column.

"And what if she isn't? Then what? Well ruin a perfectly good initiate and she'll become-"

"Factionless. I know. But we have to take this risk." I say leaning my head back. "She could end all this. The faction systems, and this cruel government."

"I know she can, but are you sure you're not doing this because of your sister?" Four asks

"Do not bring her into this. This is all because of Jeanine."

"You know Jeanines her mother right?"

"Yeah." I get up "I know. But change needs to happen."

"How's change going to happen if she breaks?" Four asks

"It won't. Which is why this needs to work. You two need to come by my apartment later so we can do it okay?"

"Okay." Four sighs, "I don't like where this is going." He says walking to the center of the room. I hear carters footsteps becoming louder.

"It's inevitable."
