Dauntless Queen~ A Divergent Eric Love story

It's the second to last day of initiation. The first day of mental.
We're all waiting in a small lobby. My heads in wills lap and my legs on peters. One by one initiates were called in, then finally it was my turn.

"Carter." Four says leaning against a door frame. I get up and walk over,

"Good luck." Peter says
I nod and walk into a room. It's similar to the ones during aptitude testing.

"I heard things didn't go too well the other night." Four says picking up a syringe

"Damn right. Harry was the only one that didn't get on my nerves." I say sitting down in a chair.

"Figures. On the cameras thomas was limping to the infirmary, have anything to do with it?"

"I kicked him in the nuts with high heels." I say putting my hair up, I hear four cringe then he walks over.

"You better tell me the entire story at lunch, but," I hesitate for a moment but then he injects me, "in 10 seconds you'll experience all of your fears, calm your heart rate and face them, be brave." He says then my vision blacks out. I open my eyes to see erudite. The labs. It smells of rubbing alcohol and sanitizer, this is all too familiar.

Around me different people with blurred faces with needles approach me.
"This will only hurt a little bit." I hear. The voice is familiar,

Soon I feel the sting of a hundred needles all through out my body. The pain won't stop. The memories of years of continuos torture, the needles stabbing into every muscle, every joint, over and over, until I remember what four said, calm my heart rate. I close my eyes and breath. I let the pain move throughout me, it takes a while for me to get used to it but I soon calmed down. I wake up and I shoot up from the chair sweating.

"You don't seem too afraid of needles. I thought you were terrified of them." Four asks reading the screen

"It's not that I'm scared of needles I'm scared of being thought as..just an object. They used me..like I was nothing. And needles just remind me of them I guess.." I take a breath, and four walks over and gives me a hug

"Go to the main office, there's a mandatory check in then go get some rest okay?"

"Okay." I nod and walk out. I walk to the main office and knock on the door

"Come in." I hear a muffled voice say. The door opens and I walk in.
Harry, thomas, Andrew, and eric were standing before me,

"How did it go?" Andrew asks

"I only had one fear,.. So I guess it went pretty well," I say still shaken up

"Maybe she'll be fearless," eric laughs and thomas gives him a death glare.

"Sorry. Now we have a..tracker serum to give you just for security measures." Eric says hesitantly but I brush it off.

"Yeah whatever I just wanna go to bed," I say yawning. Harry injects the serum,

"Get some rest Carter." Andrew says then he gives me a heartfelt hug. Same with thomas, harry and eric,

"Woah what's with all the hugs? I'm just going to sleep guys."

"It's nothing, now go," thomas says and he gives me one of his cute smiles. Despite what happened in previous days I've grown quite fond of the leaders, I smile and leave the room to fall asleep in the dorms.

*erics pov*

"Do you know how mad she will be when she finds out we've been having plans without her?" Thomas asks sitting down.

"These plans started way before she even came, she has no right to be mad." Harry responds

"True, but we did say that she basically has the leadership job, making her have all the rights." Andrew says

"We just injected her with the fuckingn mind control shit for the attack, the fuck you mean she has no right? She trusts us." I say to harry

"She's just an initiate. As soon as all of this is over well bring her out and she can become a leader, simple as that." Harry says. I let out a breath and lean on thomas' desk

"Somebody go to erudite and get an antidote, I want it ready for when she can get out of it." I demand.

"I think somebody has a thing for the initiate," Andrew says grinning

"Like you don't, we all have the hots for Carter." Thomas says chuckling

"And those twin pricks from erudite," harry states

"Good thing I'm handsome," thomas says fixing up his blazer

"She kicked you in the balls." I say

"Couldn't stay away from them now could she?" Thomas says smirking

"She kicked you. In the balls." I say again, then I hear a knock on the door,

"Another injection straighten up," Thomas says turning into leader mode and walks over to open the door

*the next day in the normal training room*

"Okay initiates! Today is your final day of training, each of you will be called down to go through your fear landscape in front of the leaders." Eric says and takes a pause, "after all is done jobs will be given out then you all will be full fledged members of dauntless, first up, Carter."

She goes through her fear scape with flying colors and here's the dinner after

"Bitches we made it!" Will screamed as we walked into the dining hall

"Fuck yeah we did!" Peter yells as he jumps on will, they both come over and place a kiss on my cheek,

"And you lil miss first ranker," will says hugging me, "I'm like in love with you," he says but I don't know if he's kidding or not,

"We need to do something to celebrate," I say taking a seat

"Let's get this over with," I say and thomas nods at me

"She won't hate you eric, it's for the best." He says back at me, I take a deep breath and push a small button on a remote,

All of the laughter and cheering falls silent as all the dauntless down below pass out and fall.

"The simulation has started," Harry says typing things into his computer

"Get them prepped, I'll grab our gear," Andrew says walking out, so this is it, the wars beginning. I look at the cameras and move around, I see a girl looking around, is Carter, she takes a look around then starts to wobble as if she's lost her balance, then she finally falls over and passes out like the rest.

"Finally a use for the gun tactics leader," Harry jokes

"At least I don't watch people shower," Thomas said back

"That was one time!" Harry yells

"Out of many," Thomas laughs as Andrew walks in with a cart full of vests and different gear.

"So dauntless is about to take over the faction system." Andrew says strapping on his gun

"Just killing the leaders." I say

"What ever happened to being allies with candor?" Harry asks

"We need to eliminate all sources of categorization, candor always go on my nerves anyways." I say putting on my gloves.

"This will just be like initiation." Thomas says loading his rifle.

"I hope this is the right decision eric." Andrew says.

"I do too. "
