I confidently strode to my office. The maids parting ways to allow me to go through, terrified as to what got me so worked up early in the morning. Only if they knew about the situation that I was in. Breakfast was long forgotten as I barged into my office, slamming the door shut. Hayden, who was already seated on a chair was startled and perplexed as to what has happened.

"Where's Eyana?"

"You want her to be present too?" His voice hard with full attention. No jokes were said as he went straight to the point. My insides were boiling with rage and curiosity.

"What the fuck do you not understand about a meeting with the three of us." I spat in anger and he immediately bowed his head.

"Sorry, Alpha." I waited till morning to talk about this and now my patience is running thin.

Eyana, at my office now.

Yes, Alpha.

She immediately responded and I sat down on my chair trying to calm mys of down. The air was thick with tension. Hayden sat with full attention and his poker face ready to carry out whatever I tell him to.

Within seconds, a knock was heard and Eyana entered bowing her head in respect.

"You called me, Alpha?"

"Sit, we have important things to discuss about." She sat on the chair beside Hayden and infront of me.

"Martin is alive." Still was the air after I spoke these words. Hayden's eyes widened and were changing colour showing his anger. Eyana sat rigid with shock evident in her eyes.

"How do you know?" Hayden asked with a hard voice.

"He is former Beta of the King's pack."

"What!?" Both of them questioned simultaneously. The tension in the air was thicker than ever for they didn't know what I was about to tell them.

"Yes. Remember I told you about a man who seemed familiar to me at that pack but I couldn't recognise him?" I asked eagerly and watched as both of them nodded their heads. Hayden had told Eyana about this but even she had failed to recognise to him.

"That's him?" Eyana asked with confusion laced in her voice.

"Yes."

" How can you be so sure?"

"I had a nightmare about him last night." I confessed and watched as their shoulders slumped in sadness. They knew about my past and were more sad about it than me.

"This is not the time to dwell about the nightmare. The main thing is how do we get him? How do I make him confess everything and put an end to this problem of mine?" I referred to the monster that resided in me other than my wolf. With much thought, Hayden answered.

"We need to bring him to our pack because over there he is safe and won't probably speak out no matter how much you provoke him. Coming to the main issue is that everyone does not know about his antics yet. Otherwise, why would they keep him?"

"What if they are in support of him? We cannot speak above the King. If he doesn't allow then we can't bring him here also we can't tell him about our purpose. What if Martin goes and informs Jace about this? If Martin is alive then Jace could be too. " Eyana exclaimed and both of them had held out important things to be noted.

"We need to get both of them but how? What do I do that makes the King give permission to bring him here? This is a very risky situation." The game was turning dangerous as ever and there was nothing to exaggerate about this.

"You are his mate. Use the weapon Moon Godded gave you." Hayden jested and I couldn't help but glare at him.

"Shut the fuck up. We do not get along."

"You could actually do this." Eyana suggested and I frowned in response.

" Do what?"

"The risk is that we are not sure whether they are with Martin or oblivious to his truth. If we can confirm that they are not with him then we can expose his truth and use him to find Jace and bring an end to all this." She explained her plan and I could not help but agree. Indeed this is what was needed to be done.

"To make this happen, I need to get close to Xason and make him spill. We will need Silvia's help also." I explained further and both of them nodded. Hayden remaining mostly quiet. I could tell this topic about Martin made him sad. He wouldn't say but it was obvious.

"Why would you need her help? We do not have any proof to prove that Martin is not what he seems to be." Hayden spoke after a long time of being silent.

"Silvia will help us with her potions. We need a potion to make Martin spill the truth and a potion to make sure that Xason speaks the truth. I didn't see his mate in the pack and as far as I know Reece does not know about his mother's death well. We could use that." I suggested and they agreed about this.

"Great then, we have a plan. Now, who's excited?" I exclaimed rubbing my hands together. Smiles lit up their faces.

"We have to be careful. No one knows about this other than us and Silvia." Hayden said and I agreed.

"I command you two not to speak about this matter to anyone else except me. No one word should go around the pack." I ordered. They bowed their head in submission. I trusted them with my life and with this too.

"But there's one thing I am confused about." Eyana spoke drawing our attention.

"What?"

"How come I didn't recognise him?" She questioned herself and Hayden found himself agreeing to this.

"Me too."

"That's alright. I didn't recognise him at first too. All the incidents were years ago." I clarified and dismissed them.

With the silence in the room, I couldn't help but think. Think about the situation I was in. I was happy. Finally, I could get him. But there was too much to worry about.

How would I handle Xason?

We cannot stand each other. It's either he is going to end up dead or me. Either way I am in a lot of trouble right now.
