Yoongi pov.

I kept waiting. Waiting for one year for her texts. My best friend's texts. It has been a year since she contacted me. I am starting to fear that she is dead or she is just busy. Even if she was she could have texted me. We have been best friends since we were 7. Namjoon came towards me with a camera indicating that he is live. I smiled at the camera, but it was not genuine. Anyone can see that. Army's kept asking if I was ok, I said yes, feeling bad that I lied to armies.

Yoongi: don't worry guys I'm fine, just tired because of the practice for tomorrow's concert.

That all understood so Namjoon then let them I went to sleep.

Y/n pov

I hope you didn't forget me Yoongi. I'm here. I bought front row tickets to his concert. He has been dreaming and being a rapper in the past. Now he is one of the most famous idols. He was with me during my ups and downs while u were also with him during his ups and downs. I am happy that he achieved his dream. I went to my apartment and went to take a rest so that I will be ready for tomorrow's concert.

The next day

Y/n woke up and got dressed she wore this

Took her black bag and put on black shoes since she doesn't want to feel uncomfortable. She went to the venue and waited. She saw a lot of armies there. She was worried as to what armies will think of their friendship. She showed the guard her ticket and went inside. She was nervous also was he.

Yoongi was beyond nervous since Y/n would always send him messages before his concerts but she didn't. His members tried to comfort him but it didn't work. Only his best friend can. Soon it was time for them to go on stage and perform.

Timeskip last song

Y/n was thankful that Yoongi didn't notice her because of her mask. Since the last song was mikrosmos she removed her mask and let Yoongi see her.

After sometime when Yoongi saw her, he was shocked. Eyes welled with tears and his bottom lip quivering looking at her, Y/n was in the same condition as she saw her best friend after 1 year. Even that doesn't know how they survived without seeing each other for one year when in the past they couldn't even leave each other for more than 2 hours. Army saw that Yoongis condition and looked where he was looking. Soon the song ended but He still didn't look away. The rest of the members looked at their Hyung/Yoongi confused. Slowly Yoongi started going down the stairs and towards Y/n. Army's who saw this screamed thinking that they can't see them. Yoongi stood some space away from her not sure if she was his best friend

Y/n smiled through her tears and whispered

y/n: It's been a long time... Yoongs

With that Yoongi and Y/n ran towards each other and hugged as if they would be separated if they let go. Since yoongis mic was still on. Army's and the members could hear what they were speaking.

Y/n: It has been one year, best friend. You did it. You achieved your dream.

When the members and army's heard the words ' best friend ' they couldn't help but be surprised as they thought that his best friend would be a boy.

Yoongi: I did bubs. I did it. I missed you so much! Why didn't you call me?! WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME YOU WILL COME?! Do you know how hard it was without you comforting me?!

He sobbed out. People were astonished since he only cries rarely and only when something happened to his loved ones

Y/n: I'm so sorry! I just wanted to surprise you since you did it! Aunt would be so proud of you!

They hugged while Y/n calmed down Yoongi was still sobbing. not believing that his best friend came to see him.Y/n seeing this chuckled and caressed his back.

Y/n: We have been best friends since we were 7 years old and you only cried 5 times in front of me so stop crying! I don't know how to comfort you! Stop crying or I will not give you the tangerines that I bought for you!

Yoongi calmed down and chuckled at her statement as well as army's.

Timeskip:backstage.

Y/n was waiting backstage as she heard the members give their speeches. When yoongi started taking you couldn't help but be proud of him.

Yoongi :as your all saw the screen earlier, that girl is my best friend. We have been best friends since we were 7 years old. I am really lucky to have her as my best friend. We have been through many hardships together. Especially when Dahyun and suho bullied us - oops did I say our bullies name? Sorry. As I said I'm forever thankful for her. When I told everyone of my dreams, she was the only one who supported me. Even my own mom didn't, so she took all my composing items and put it into her basement so that I can compose without my mom saying anything. She was the only reason I kept going. I'm forever thankful to have a best friend like her. I know that you are hearing this. But y/n, tangerines.

I laughed at the last word. It was a word which meant I love you since we both would cringe saying I love you.
After they entered and members greeted your and you greeted then back. Since you were sitting Yoongi came to you, sat on your lap, hugging your waist and nuzzling his nose on your neck. If anyone saw this they would they that these both are a couple. But they are not, it's just that they have been friends for more than 15+ years that they got very comfortable with eachother. The members teased him to which he just replied.

Yoongi :shut up. I'm seeing my bestfriend after a year. I have e the right to be this clingy. She is the best cuddle buddy in the world.

They laughed at the remark and had fun. After some time I checked at Yoongi to find him sleeping. I then adjusted it so thst I could sleep too. So now my head was resting ok the couch, ith my arms on his waist. His hands on my waist and his head in my neck.

We both slept soundly.

Bonus

Jin started the vlive after the best friends fell asleep. Couple of minutes later the fans started asking about the cat look alike member. The other members smile sheepishly and shied the camera towards the two.

Namjoon : they have been best friends for more that 17 years. It's natural that they would sleep like this. They are bestfriends.

Y/n :yeah we are bestfriends, bestfriends also fight if someone disturbs, so get out before Yoongi gets disturbed or I'll kill you all.
