HERA'S POV

"Are you sure about this?" Kinakabahang bulong ni Cale at tumango naman ako. "Hareth, can I just leave? I already tried to say sorry to Terrence pero nilagpasan niya lang ako. Besides I don't to be involved in your relationship, nagkabalikan na kayo at masaya na ako ro'n."

"Cale, please do it for me. Birthday gift mo na 'yon sa akin, ayaw kong umalis ka ng hindi ka pa niya napapatawad." Pagkukumbinsi ko at narinig kong napabuntong hininga ito.

"Bakit ang bait mo? Maaabuso ka niyan," mahinang sabi niya at ngumiti naman ako.

"Matagal na akong naabuso, Cale. Matagal na." Mapaklang sabi ko at matahimik ito.

Um-order ako ng tatlong Chocolate Chip Cream Frappuccino at Oreo Cheesecake habang inaantay namin si Terrence. Maya-maya nakarating na ang order namin at bigla namang dumating ito. Ngumiti ako sa kaniya pero nakakunot lang ang noo nito.

"What are you doing here?" Tanong nito kay Cale at hinawakan niya nang mahigpit ang kamay ko't napatingin ako sa kaniya.

Seryoso.

"Uh, I'm..." Napatingin sa akin si Cale at napalunok ito. "I'm sorry for everything, Terrence. Look, I'm not here for your forgiveness or to accept my sorry but p-please, listen to m-me." Kinakabahang sabi niya pero hindi kumibo si Terrence at nanatili lang itong nakatingin sa kaniya't wala itong emos'yong ipinapakita. "The moment you saw me with other guy and I said that I'm just using you to get a good grades, that's true and I'm sorry but that time I realized that I was wrong I do loved you-"

"That's why you did it to me? 15 years ago?" Tanong ni Terrence at tumango naman ito.

"I'm sorry, n-nagsisisi ako." Cale said sincerely and her tears started to fall.

I wanted to wiped her tears but I can't. Masyadong mahigpit ang hawak sa akin ni Terrence.

"Bitaw," mahinang sabi ko at napatingin ito sa akin. "Nasasaktan ako," sambit ko't binitawan niya ang kamay ko.

Tinignan ko ang kamay ko at namumula na ito. Tinago ko ito sa bulsa ng coat ko para hindi niya mapansin.

"I know I was immature back then, but Terrence believe me or not nagsisisi ako. A month or three since Hareth flew to America, sumunod ako and I saw her in pain. Nasa park siya no'n at may hawak libro't patuloy sa pag-iyak, that time I realized everything. I'm too selfish because I choose what I want to do without thinking what will happen." I saw her kneeled down and I rolled my eyes.

'What are you doing?' I mouthed and she smiled... Weakly.

"I'm sorry," aniya't lumapit ako sa kaniya't pinilit ko siyang tumayo.

"Hera!" Terrence shouted but I didn't looked at him.

This is too much.

"Cale, stand up. You don't have to do this, you already said sorry to him many times," sabi ko pero umiling ito.

"I deserve this," she whispered. "Just let me, Hareth. Please."

I shook my head.

"I-"

"Hera, let's go," sabi ni Terrence pero umiling ako. "Why?" He raised a brow. "She's the reason why we broke up, Hera. How can you forgive her easily? Can't you see, she's taking advantage of your kindness!" He shouted and I froze.

He never shout at me with anger.

"Go to him..." Bulong ni Cale pero hindi ako makakibo.

Why is he angry at me?
