IF PEOPLE WERE RAIN, Eisha Ree was nothing short of a hurricane

IF PEOPLE WERE RAIN, Eisha Ree was nothing short of a hurricane. For Eisha could always find comfort in the deafening storm; herself, and the rain, sharing many a similarity. Rain is not only pouring droplets of water. It's the love the sky holds for the earth. They may never meet, but the sky would always send its dearest love down.

And Eisha could empathise with that.

The sodden earth, the flowers, and the stolen sunlight: bared all storms the four seasons bring. But, he was something more.

She fell for him the way rain falls for the earth; endlessly, and with sure persistence. There was a melancholy to it, as there was to rain — just as there was to love. Eisha wished to feel it; she wished to give it. If she wouldn't shy away and seek shelter from rain storms — why would she run from love?

'Love.'

Sighing, she laid back on her robe, the light drizzle failing to calm her as her thoughts wandered. Sunsets melt into waves, night fades into the day as the colour falls into the sea. Too many a beautiful strange thing lived, yet love for Eisha Ree felt the strangest of all.

Brushing out her frizzed curls, the raindrops misted her violet gaze. How hard it was to feel inexplicably bound to someone. But without the words to say how — to say why. Her soul would whisper to her, whispering its wishes to intertwine with his; to stand by each other, because as much as Eisha believed she was already complete.

Something still felt missing.

And she no longer felt a difference between her heart and him.

He was her heart. Her heart was so full of him that she could barely call it her own.
