Amora
December 1st 1997
Deep down, she always knew.

Deep down she always knew how she felt.

Wether it was blushing furiously whenever the gryffindor said her name or it was all her worries instantly fading away when Ginny stepped onto the tower, she always knew.

She wanted to push her away, tell her no. You're to good. She was, she was undoubtedly and unforgettably, good.

She knew in the very back of her mind that Ginny Weasley would never be just a friend for her. Even through the small amount of time they've spent together as soon as she saw her she felt a light flicker behind her own eyes.

As the two got closer, she fell deeper.

She adored everything Ginny did. She didn't even have to try. She just— was. She was bold, she didn't care what anybody thought of her. She knew all sorts of small interesting things about muggles, from her dad of course. ("Oh! and they also have this thing called a pager!)

She always glowed.

Though with her feelings came jealousy. It was hardly difficult to notice Dean Thomas' presence in the DA. Even if she was almost sure Ginny had no feelings for they both anymore she still couldn't help the small pang one her head whenever she saw them talking.

Small waves of self hatred would wash over to her when she felt her eyes drift to Ginnys lips, Ginny was perfect, but she wasn't hers.

Her eyes would light like fireworks when she was smiling or ranting about something she enjoyed. Fireworks was a good word to describe her, her eyes lit up like lightning challenging her opponents. Her hair floated in the wind like a newly lit bonfire. Sometimes Amora felt like Ginnys light would give out if she knew Amora enough, she was a black hole that she was sure even Ginnys flame couldn't handle.

It didn't help that same sex relationships were almost unheard of in the wizarding world. Maybe one day people would be more accepting, she wished it felt like it. Her mother would loose her mind if she found out.

Maybe in a different life she could look at her and let herself hope Ginny looked at her too.

This wasn't that lifetime.
