Ginny
December 31st 1997
If you'd asked her, she wouldn't be able to answer why she agreed to leave with Amora that night. It was something that, years ago, she would've never done.

Things were different then.

She'd known Amora for seven years, though she'd only known her for months. Even much, much later on in her life she'd sit and question how whatever she felt for her was so powerful.

Maybe she left because Amora had said it, the feeling of just knowing Amora felt as strongly as she did might have been why. Or maybe it was because she simply didn't have much other options.

She could question that later, but right now, she had to focus on getting out.

The common room was in shambles and the two girls sprinted down the stairs hand in hand. Large clusters of students argued amongst themselves, tables were turned over, and dust floated in the air.

The room fell silent as they stepped on the wood. The crowd parted to show Neville in the middle, desperately trying to explain himself.

"Neville," Amora let go of her hand, taking a book out of her bag as she approached him "we're leaving hogwarts, this is my research notebook. It has all the hexes I know."

Amora glanced around at the students.

"They'll need it, tell them to go to their dorms, they need to appear asleep."

One of the older kids stepped forward, a furious look on his face.

"She's a death eater!"

He yelled, pointing his finger.

Ginny walked up and held Amoras hand.

"Shes one of us, okay?"

Ginny stared daggers at him. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Amora pull up both of her sleeves, showing her unscathed arms.

"Right now, I'm your saving grace," Amora looked around, staring daggers at all of them. Ginny couldn't help it when her eyes trailed to her lips, she nearly slapped herself.

Merlin not the time Ginny.

"Get. To. Bed."
