Milly's POV
Hi my name is Milly, Milly Mathews. I'll admit no
one's life is perfect but if you compare the popular kids to me you will definitely choose them...
I'm just an ordinary 16 year old schoolgirl who everyone sees as a nerd I'm always hanging out in the library with my long black hair in a plait with the boring old school uniform but I hate skirts I despise them everyone thinks I'm "weird" because I wear trousers. I get bullied daily but honestly I just brush it off and smile... after all kindness is key right?
Wrong.
Apparently smiling at people makes you a "freak" and a "laughing stock" ugh I hate people.
I have no friends but I have people around me. However, I still feel alone and trapped I hate opening up and explaining my life so I just stay quiet usually reading fan fiction.
The best part of the day is home time! I'm sure it would be for everyone else too, I know, but I love it because as long as I have the Teddy Bear my best friend gave to me back in year 3 and I'm locked in the bathroom everything's "fine", that's what I tell myself anyway.
I'm always looking at myself in the mirror thinking what I would look like as a boy, it's crazy I know but it makes me happy...
Home is okay I guess apart from the fact I have a very annoying 12 year old brother he's always getting me in trouble with dad BUT I still love him with all my heart...!! I would hate it if something were to happen to him...
our mom died when my brother Micheal was 3. I must say though, his fashion senses are amazing! I mean it wouldn't surprise me if he came out gay like me.
That's something else people don't know about me...
I haven't come out to anyone but my brother he's always joking around about it.
As I said earlier he is VERY annoying and some days I could just strangle him but lucky for him I love him too much to do so.
Plus dad would murder me the two of them are inseparable.
Sorry if this book is bad its my first book. I know this first chapter was short it was 370 words but i promise the other chapters will be longer (hopefully) Hope you enjoy this book!
