[One more rule]
3rd Person Pov:
"Now we just have to make sure. (Y/N)." muttered Shiro, pointing at Stephanie. (Y/N) saluted, saying: "Yes, ma'am!" With that, the (h/c) haired girl went up to poor Steph, starting to grope her. "U-Um, what are you..." started Stephanie, not able to form much more of a sentence.
(Y/N), as calm as always, stated: "I'm fondling your chest, or what does it look like?" "What kind of reaction are you expecting from me?" "This doesn't excite you? Even though she told you to fall in love with her?" asked Shiro, knowing fully well that she just proved her point. "Well..." Jibril stood up, saying: "So you're implying it wasn't you, but someone else who ordered Dola-chan to fall in love with them?" "100 points to Jibril!" said (Y/N), stepping back from Steph.
Shiro went up to (Y/N), taking her hand in hers, saying: "It was my brother who did that." "But wasn't she already convinced of Sora's existence?" asked Jibril, thinking for a second. Steph glared slightly at the queens of Elkia, asking: "So why exactly did you fondle me?" "To thank you. Because I wouldn't have figured it out if it weren't for you." admitted Shiro. At that, Steph smiled.
Jibril said: "Then let us consider the possibilities. If this Sora is a real person, how could he have disappeared?" The four of them thought about that. "I think I kinda knew how he did it." admitted (Y/N), raising a hand. "Seriously?" asked Steph. "Yep." "Then tell us!" "I said 'knew'. Obviously, I don't remember." Steph sighed, looking like her life was about to leave her. "It would certainly be possible with powerful area-of-effect spells, but those would definitely leave traces behind." noted Jibril.
Shiro, who was biting on her nail, asked: "What if it was from a game?" The three others looked down at the young girl. "What if it was part of the rules for a game played under the covenants?" (Y/N) sweat dropped, muttering: "I feel like he'd totally do that..." Stephanie said: "If the game was played by our race's representative, the result would affect all of Imanity. But Jibril isn't part of..." She trailed off, with Jibril saying: "No, now that I'm serving under my Masters, you should consider me to be their subordinate. It would be reasonable for me to be affected by such a game."
Steph clapped her hands together, saying: "That makes sense. But what kind of game would that be?" "I don't know." was Shiro's quick answer. (Y/N) merely shrugged, starting to think about it, too. Shiro added: "But I know that Nii said... Nii would never leave me alone. And he's too attached to (N/N) to leave her, too."
"Shiro... are you there?"
Her eyes widened as Shiro heard that voice.
"Shiro, you're still there, right?"
She turned her head from left to right, asking: "Nii?" Then, she went into the throne room, looking around.
"Where are you, Shiro?"
The other three went after her, with (Y/N) stopping next to her.
"(Y/N), can you touch me somewhere I still have feeling in? I might lose my mind otherwise."
(E/c) orbs scanned the room once again. She took a deep breath, concentrating everything she had. 'I wish I could, Sora. I wish I could.' she thought, starting to lose track of her surroundings. "Nii!" called Shiro, keeping her eyes wide. "Shiro..." started Steph, stepping closer to the two of them.
But Shiro raised a hand, signaling both Steph, and Jibril to stop. She, too, started zoning everything out, concentrating on her thoughts, going through all of her memories of her precious, older brother.
Shiro opened her eyes, saying: "A game that bets your existence." She then let herself fall, muttering: "Then..."
Somewhere else:
"A game where you bet your existence?" asked the girl with long, black hair. She eyed the shady man opposite of her, who said: "That's right. Each player gets thirty two-stones representing different aspects of their existence. The aspects are ranked by he importance your subconsciousness assigns them with the first stone being the most important. As a result, you won't know which stone represents what aspect of you until your opponent takes the piece, making you lose part of yourself."
The male kept his stern gaze on the female in front of him, continuing to explain the rules of the game they're about to play. "For example, it could be the existence of the Elf standing beside you, your arms, legs, nerves, or memories. In the end, your very existence will cease to be, making nobody able to perceive you. In effect, you'll disappear." "Are you serious?" asked the female, grasping the rules immediately. "Yeah. Fifth Covenant: 'The right to decide a game's rules belong to the challenged.' If you don't accept, the match is off. What'll it be?" Before the female could answer, the Elf next to her put a hand on her shoulder, saying: "Clammy..."
Clammy said: "Fi, this man plans to wager Imanity's Race Piece. We can't just leave him be." At that, Sora grinned. "And to think I was still hoping we could settle this peacefully." said Clammy with a sigh. Sora said: "I'd have no problems with that. You'd just have to trust me and let me use that Elf." "As if I could do that!" "I figured." Clammy, sighing once more, asked: "What'll you bet?"
"Let's say the winner can make up to two demands. You could, for example, make the outcome of the game permanent and erase your opponent's existence indefinitely. Or you could alter the memories of your opponent's partners to make them yours." explained the male, keeping the smug grin on his face. "In other words, we're playing to determine who gets to exist and for full rights over our partners, right?"
"That's right. But since you're only betting one partner, I'll do the same." His grin only widened as he said: "I know how badly you want to know about (Y/N), so I'll be betting her." After a short moment of silence, Clammy said: "You're out of your mind." At that, Sora chuckled, saying: "Well, if I'm insane anyway, I might as well add one more crucial rule." With that, he looked to his right side, where (Y/N) was standing absentmindedly. "S-Sora...?" she asked in her innocent voice, looking at him.
