[A new spell]
3rd Person Pov:
'You removed my spirit circuits to prepare for this moment, didn't you? A core temperature of six thousand degrees Celcius. The surface would be in the neighborhood of three thousand, I presume. It seems you still haven't given up on killing me.' thought Jibril, smiling at the duo that was flying just above her. "Morning(asa)." she said, still watching the two. They both took a deep breath, saying: "Oxygen(sanso)." 'Keeping me from breathing, will you? A futile struggle. But please, entertain me for a little longer.' thought Jibril to herself. "Sonata(sonata)." "Seed planters(taneue)." said Sora to quickly follow her. "You should know when to give up. Well then... Air(ea)." A second later, Jibril realized that she still couldn't breath.
Sora Pov:
Just as I thought, Jibril. You don't know atomic theory! If you don't know better, it's only natural to think air's all you need to breathe. We only got rid of the oxygen though. Objects your answer refer to disappear if they're present and appear if they're not. I knew that this world doesn't know of that type of thing, since (Y/N) was more than just confused as she read about the atomic theory on the tablet. The other gases disappeared, while oxygen returned. In other words, all that's here is oxygen. The pressure and concentration of the gas makes it unexpectedly toxic. (Y/N) was tugging at my shirt, signaling me that she's nearly out of breath. I quickly pulled her up, then kissed her soft lips. I could get used to- Focus! Shared breathing. This is the defining difference in our situations. We separated from the kiss as I whispered: "(Y/N), let's end this." She nodded and we both breathed out. (Y/N) said: "Atmosphere(atomosufea)." The atmosphere... The vacuum created by its absence will cause the air left in your lungs to continuously expand until you eventually burst. I didn't even think of that. It was only when (Y/N) asked if that were to happen that I got the idea of this. I hugged her fragile body close to mine, watching as Jibril couldn't say anything. I smirked. Sound can't be created in a vacuum. If you can't answer within thirty seconds... My eyes widened as her finger suddenly started glowing. She wrote with light. Well, in that case... I pulled the note out of my pocket that (Y/N) wrote on earlier. It read 'Coulomb force'. With the disappearance of Coulomb force, there's nothing to stop nuclear force from drawing atoms together, bringing about and astronomical phenomenon that woud normally only occur after the gravitational collapse of a supermassive star toward the end of its life. There'll be a hypernova, capable of obliterating stars that're light years away. If you can survive an explosion of fifty billion degrees Celsius, rivaling the temperature of the Big Bang, I'd like to see it, Flügel! And the explosion went off.
"I died." "Oh, welcome back." I said to Steph. We were back in the library. "You not only used me as a decoy, but also as a sacrificial pawn!" she yelled while clinging onto (Y/N), who was still hugging me. "You inhuman monster! I mean, in-Imanitian monster!" "Steph, beg!" With Shiro's simple words, Steph sat down and did just that. "This is still going on?!" I put a hand on (Y/N)'s head, looking at Steph as I said: "I'm sure you've got a lot to complain about, but without you,we would've lost. Thanks a bunch, Steph."
(Y/N) Pov:
"I was utterly defeated." admitted Jibril, floating to the ground next to us. "No matter how well you can lead me on, there wasn't the faintest guarantee that I would actually answer with 'ignorance'. You're a madman, aren't you?" "First off, there is no way I would willingly bet (Y/N) without a plan with a 100% success rate. Second, we're challenging God. As if anyone sane would do that." said Sora. "You're challenging... God?" "Tet was the one who brought us to this world. We don't have much of a choice but to beat him, do we? Well then, Jibril, in accordance with the covenants, we own you and all of your possessions. Oh, by the way, I didn't mean for the books on my tablet to be anything but bait, so feel free to read them. You can also use the library as you always have." "O departed master! O Altosh, who created us in life. At long last, I've fulfilled our dearest wish of finding one worthy of succeeding your place as our master. Despite being of Imanity, they've bested the Elves, and myself, disproving beliefs long held to be fact. My master, my lord... I am Jibril of the Flügel, ranked sixth amongst the Exceed, and a member of the Congress of Eighteen Wings. I belong to you and none other. I could find no greater pleasure than to carry out your will." said Jibril, making it sound like a prayer. I smiled at her, saying: "Yeah. You can count on us." Sora and Shiro nodded their heads, with Shiro saying: "Leave it to us."
"Little (Y/N), do you know what it means to win?" "Uhm... It means to defeat your opponent, right?" "Wrong." "Huh? What does it mean then, ~~~?" "It means that you either made yourself a new foe, or a new fiend." "But... I still get to keep what I won, right?" "Of course! You're just way too cute, you know~"
My eyes widened as I looked down, feeling a weird sensation coming from my hip. "That's..." started Jibril, but immediately started drooling again. I took the Grimoire in my hands, watching as it lit up in the same (f/c) it did whenever I touched it. "My, you are..." Again, she trailed off. I opened it to a page that I couldn't read before. My eyes widened as a smile crept onto my face. "A-A new one!" I said, shoving my Grimoire in Sora's face. "Look, look! I can read it now!" He smiled, patting my head. "That's great. What's it about?" "Let's see..." I took another look at the spell, saying: "It's a fire spell." "Fire?" I nodded. I opened my palm, concentrating. The book says to imagine a flame burning on any part of the body. Then to concentrate the 'energy' on that spot. "That's a fine spell." said Jibril, making me look at her. Just then I noticed that my hand was 'burning'. "Woah! It worked!" I said, smiling brightly. "Sora, look! I can create fire!" "Yeah. I see that. But..." I looked at him, putting the fire out. He continued: "It's completely useless."
