Before you read this chapter, I have a little information for you.
It's about my update schedule.
For me to continue this book even after the anime means that I have to read the Light Novel (which I'm totally in love with^^).
I am taking my time with writing chapters so you don't have to wait an eternity once I've finished with the Anime.

Just thought I'd let you know!

Now,
Enjoy!!

[A Deal with the Devil]

3rd Person Pov:

"What do you mean 'useless'?!" asked (Y/N), her (e/c) eyes filled with anger. She glared at Sora, who sighed, saying: "The covenants. We can't use it to frighten the enemy. Well, we could say we would burn their belongings, but we can't actually harm them." "B-But... Jeez, you're right." she said, closing her Grimoire again. But before she could put it back, someone grabbed it. It immediately lost its (f/c) shine. (Y/N)'s eyes widened as she turned to look at the still drooling Flügel. "It really is a Grimoire of the great (l/n) clan!" She eyed the book with hunger filled eyes, taking in every detail of it. "Jibril, give it back!" said (Y/N), reaching for it. Jibril quickly flew up into the air, saying: "I do apologize, master, but I NEED to inspect this extremely rare book." "Jibril!" (Y/N) pouted, turning around. "Sora, do something! She'll damage it if she tries to open it with force!" Sora smiled, saying: "Then you owe me one~" he teased. Her cheeks turned bright red as she nodded, saying: "A-Anything! Just get it back!" "That's what I call a deal. Jibril, I command you to give (Y/N) her Grimoire back immediately." Jibril's eyes filled with tears as she flew back down. "Wait, it was that easy?" asked (Y/N), watching as the Flügel handed her the book. "A deal's a deal, dear (N/N)~" said Sora, smirking at the blushing girl. "A-And what do I have to do...?" she asked shyly, putting her Grimoire back to where it belongs. "I'll think about it." answered Sora, still smirking. "I accidentally made a deal with the devil..." whispered (Y/N) to herself, sighing heavily. "Let me ask you this, master, are you really a (L/N)?" asked Jibril.

(Y/N) Pov:

"Hm? No, I'm not." I answered with a blank face. Jibril looked at me in confusion, asking: "Then, how is it possible that you can open it?" I shrugged, to which she fell to her knees, saying: "And I thought I was lucky enough to run into one again..." "Isn't that a bit harsh, (N/N)?" asked Shiro. I sighed, saying: "Fine, fine~ Jibril, I was kidding. The name's (Y/N) (L/N)." I smiled at her as she stood back up again, returning my smile. Then, she started drooling again. "You really can use magic! At such a high level, too! Can I see your Grimoire again?! This takes me back! Ah, how I miss the fights your clan put on..." I took a step back from her. "Master..." she bowed down, asking: "Can I be so bold as to ask you to answer one question honestly?" I put a hand on my hip, saying: "Sure." She smiled at me, asking: "I am most grateful. Then... how are you still alive?" My body tensed up as I looked at her with a blank expression. Now that she mentions it... "What do you mean, Jibril? Isn't she the last one because everyone else just passed?" asked Sora. I felt the stares I got as I lowered my head, my bangs covering my eyes. "(N/N)?" asked Steph, tapping my shoulder lightly. "I..." I started, but couldn't continue. "As of my knowledge, the last of the (L/N) clan, their leader, Gin (L/N), was killed 6'000 years ago in the war." My eyes widened at Jibril's words. In the war...? I then met her gaze, answering: "Well... I don't know, if I'm honest." I smiled, scratching the back of my head. "Eh?! You don't?!" I shook my head, still smiling. "I don't know when everyone died, but I do know that it was when I was still a young child. At the age of... six, maybe?" "So you don't remember?" asked Jibril. "Sorry, I don't." She sighed, clutching her head with both of her hands. "I thought I'd get some lost information about the clan! This is so frustrating!" "Sorry, but I can't help it." I said, patting her head. "Maybe if I remember, I can tell you. Okay?" She suddenly boomed with joy as she nodded her head rapidly, saying: "My master... I am unworthy to even think about your very existence..." "Now, now. Calm down, Jibril."

3rd Person Pov:

"I hate baths." mumbled Shiro as (Y/N) shampooed the girl's hair. "You'll get through this." she said comfortingly, smiling slightly. "That's not fair. As I washed Shiro's hair, she moved around like crazy!" commented Stephanie, sighing a little. "That's because you're a Steph." said Shiro, giving (Y/N) a thumbs up. "You might not like baths, but after all we went through today, you definitely need a bath, Sister." said Sora, sitting at his usual position while tapping on his phone. "But it makes my hair really stiff." explained Shiro. Then, out of nowhere, Jibril appeared next to Sora, holding a strange bottle. She smiled, asking: "Then why don't you try this shampoo?" "Wh-Where'd you come from, Jibril?!" asked Sora, already backing away. (Y/N) said: "She's using magic." "I can see that, but-" Sora was cut off by Jibril, who started an advertisement. "This is Spiritwater Blend shampoo, a Flügel favorite. I guarantee it will give your hair a refined finish, making it feel soft and silky to the touch. So please allow your obedient slave, me, to wash your backs for you, Masters." Just like that, a part of the strange bottle moved like a snake, crawling around the bare bodies of the three young ladies. While they groped Stephanie, Shiro was wrapped up, and (Y/N) blushed heavily, seeing as the snake-like bottle was wrapping around her bare skin. "People from another world and their exotic bodies..." drooled Jibril. "Go away, Shiro! Her very existence is rated 18+!" With a grip on the bottle and a dark gleam in her eyes, Shiro commanded: "Jibril, stay." Just like that, the mighty Flügel sat on the ground, still somewhat drooling. "Huh?" (Y/N) brushed a strand of hair out of her face, saying: "Just watch from there, Jibril." "No way! I can hardly see anything through this steam!" cried Jibril. Sora, who was back at his usual spot, cried anime tears, saying: "To think that she already has Jibril under her thumb... You're amazing, Shiro-san! A force to be reckoned with! I could never hope to get to your level! Your brother's moved! My hero!" "I feel so utterly defeated!" continued Jibril. Steph, an expression as if she were close to death on her face, muttered: "I hate myself for getting used to these situations." "Eh, could be worse." noted (Y/N), going back to shampooing Shiro's hair. "How?" "Imagine you fell for one of them." "But...!" (Y/N) giggled lightly, then said: "See? I have it way worse!" "But you're just like them! Crazy game addicts!" (Y/N) merely shrugged, still smiling. "By the way, (Y/N), you finished?" asked Sora, earning a hum. "Then come over here." "What for?" she asked. "I know what I want you to do~" he teased, smirking. (Y/N)'s (e/c) eyes widened as she walked over to the towels, grabbing one and wrapping it around her body. She then walked over to him, water dripping down from her wet hair. She stopped just in front of him, looking at him with red cheeks. "D-Don't you dare do anything perverted now! Shiro's still here!" she said, closing her eyes. Sora stood up, cupping her face in his hands. "It's actually something VERY wholesome, you know?" He chuckled lightly, bringing his face closer to hers. A few short moments later, their lips touched. As he retracted his face, both of them were smiling a little. "So, my demand is that you will become my girlfriend." he stated. "Sora..." (Y/N) hugged him, burying her face in his chest. "There. Now you're officially mine." he stated. She glanced up at him, saying: "That's fine and all, but you just wasted an opportunity." He stared at her with a confused expression. "Geez, you idiot! I would've said yes if you asked me without using a stupid bet!" He, again, cried anime tears. "I just wasted... an opportunity..." Realization hit him, and he heard Shiro say: "Nii, you could've asked her to do anything. Anything." "Not you, too, Shiro! I'm a disappointment!" But with a simple gesture by (Y/N), he had calmed down. Her cheeks were painted in a bright pink as she kissed him again, smiling into the kiss.
