This is Harry's POV of when he asks Addy to be his girlfriend. (a bit of the details are the same in case it looks familiar, except for Addy's thoughts being replaced by Harry's)

The weeks went by and the cold weather was replaced with lots of rain, leaving everyone inside. The rain always had a way to dampen the once bright moods of the Hogwarts students.

Harry was sitting in front of the fireplace, leaning against the couch and scanning the Daily Prophet, while Ron and Hermione were bickering.

Ron had landed the two of them in detention with Snape, again.

Addy was beside him, watching the two with a look of amusement flashing across her features. Harry often caught himself paying attention to her more than the newspaper.

How couldn't he? It was difficult to resist looking away from the fearless smirk that painted the very lips he had kissed twice before. Twice!

Her fingertips tucked the strands of her hair that framed her face delicately as she rested her weight against the couch behind, chuckling while running a tongue along the inside of her cheek.

Harry was fully aware of her left hand placed closely next to his, sensing the warmth of her fingertips onto his skin. Part of him wondered whether it would be strange to randomly grab it.

His face flushed as he caught sight of the prominent veins and details of the back of her hand, remembering instances of his subtle boldness he had to take it in his own. Her skin was smooth and comforting, he recalled, and could calm his nerves in any circumstance.

"I didn't ask you to help me clean it up!" Ron was snarling to Hermione loudly, throwing his hands into the air, exasperated.

"I was being friendly, but you couldn't even tell Snape I had nothing to do with it!" she snapped back. She closed the book she had opened in her lap loudly and stood, stomping close to Ron with each word, "I'm sure you just want me around in detention you would have less work, wouldn't you?"

Hermione had backed Ron into a wall, her finger jabbed into his chest. She glared up at him angrily.

"Are you mad?" Ron exclaimed, "You had nothing to do with it! You could've just sat there, but no, you had to get involved, just like you always do!"

Harry and Addy quickly got up to break up the fight.

Hermione had moved dangerously close to Ron, and it seemed obvious to Harry that he wouldn't leave the room unharmed unless someone interfered.
