Chapter 22

"Um.....who told you to snoop in my phone?" I said crossing my arms. His face was so innocent I felt bad now. I don't know why but I feel bad for not telling him. Luke has been with me all summer and I haven't told him that I was dating Hayden.

"I'm sorry" he said looking down. Aww I feel horrible. I really don't care if he snooped in my phone. He always does it but I feel so guilty. "No I'm sorry for not telling you" I gazed down my feet. I'm now doing this weird things with my fingers. That's only when I feel nervous or guilty. "No Lois it's your decision if you wanted to tell me or not" he said lifting my chin. "I don't care"

His eyes had sadness on them. Did I do something wrong?

"Are you okay?" I asked. I'm worried now. He's never like that. Oh dear is it.......no he just told me. But what if he does care. I'm such a bad person. My cheeks turned red and my eyes filled with sympathy.

"I'm fine. Let's just chill and watch some Netflix" he said clapping his hands. I smiled and snatched my phone away from him. I placed it on my counter. I don't want to check my phone because I don't want Luke to have anymore thoughts.

I sat on the couch and he sat next to me. We started saying 'ya's and no's' there was movies but not the one's we wanted.

We finally found a movie. JAWS. I haven't watched this movie yet. Also Luke always brags about it just to tease me.

I cooked some popcorn and got some drinks. I sat next to him and we started watching jaws. It's so good and creepy at the same time.

-1 hour later

I was half sleepish half not. I kept twiching and I can hear Luke's chuckles. They were so quiet but I can still hear. My head finally landed on Luke's shoulder, by accident. I don't care he's my best friend.

Morning came and I feel very cold. I can feel this wind blowing in my face. As I slowly open my eyes I see my balcony doors open. What? I got up alert not knowing anything. I looked around but it was hard because i just woke up and my eyes are still lazy.

I ran upstairs and looked in every room nothing. Why is the balcony door open? That question kept roaming in my mind for the past 2 minutes. I ran downstairs and went walking to the balcony.

I see Luke. Doing yoga? What? I was laughing in my inside for the longest. I couldn't help but take a picture of him.

Walk out and sat on my armchair. "So yoga..." I said smirking. He looked at me and started laughing. "No I just saw this CD in your room so I wanted to try it. Yoga is hard I don't know how you girls do this!" he said getting frustrated.

He's so funny. "If you practice everyday there can be a difference" he burst in laughter as I imitate the same thing. "Well I give up" he got up and started cleaning up. "Wait don't you have lifeguarding today" yea I know. Lifeguarding is not a word. But what can you say im not the best in reading.

"No actually I'm in vacation that's why I haven't gone to 'lifeguarding' for a while" he was laughing at the fact that I said lifeguarding. Well It's not my fault. It's the stars. Hahaha see what i did there.................no ok.

"Oh ok. So you want to go for ice cream or starbucks" I was trying to change his mind. "Starbucks" he went to my couch and sat down.

I ran upstairs to get changed. Now is that I can check my texts. I looked through. It's Hayden saying 'love you', 'good night', 'how you feeling'. Its adorable how he cares. I texted him good morning but no response.

I get it. I didn't text him yesterday. I turned my phone off and focus on what I'm going to wear. I choosed leggings and a tie dye sweatshirt. I'm casual. Not too shabby.

I ran downstairs almost tripping. I checked my phone one more time. Nothing? That's weird. Oh well.

Luke and I were walking to Starbucks. It's pretty cold outside. In summer. Weird? I spotted Starbucks and started habing a seizure. We entered Starbucks and I went to the cashier get my frapp.

I ordered mine and Luke his. I sat down on the mini table and Luke sat opposite from mine.

"So how you doing?" I asked him. He shrugged drinking his frapp. I got a vanilla beam and he got green tea frapp. I glanced over his shoulder and saw that one person you wish you never saw. Oh dear.
