"Welcome." Leon didn't even smile.

"Next time don't drink too much. Look at you, you're wasted last night and I guess you're still now." Parang sinesermonan niya ako.

I just scratch the back of my head then lightly laughed.

"It's funny that you answered all my questions last night." he just tilted his head.

"Uh, it's kind of h-habit hehe."

"What's 062196? Your birthday?" Leon asked as he washed the dishes.

I just nodded in agreement then someone suddenly calling through my phone kaso nasa kwarto ko. Nanghihina pa din ako and It's a shame.

"Leon can you?"

"I got it."

Umakyat siya sa taas para kunin ang phone ko then seconds, inabot niya sa akin.

"Thanks."

Shit.

"Mirus?"

"Dad?" Nanghihinang sagot ko.

"What happened to you?"

"It's just a cold. Mawawala din ito mamaya." I lied.

Tumikhim siya mukhang may sasabihin siyang importante.

"Ang sasabihin ko sana, isama mo ang first son ng mga Lozano mamaya pag alis mo. I just invited them a dinner tonight."

"Time?" Paikli nang paikli ang mga sagot ko at nakakaramdam ako ng lamig at nag-iinit ang mata ko.

"Eight. And We also watched the interview together with your brother yesterday, I need to talk the both of you tonight."

"Expect us tonight. Bye."

I ended the call at medyo hiniwalay ko ang phone ko sa akin and I even looked Leon na nakasandal sa lamesa.

"You look like my husband who do the chores." Pinilit ko gawing biro but nabigo ako. It sounds sarcastic.

He just raised his brow to me then he is smirking like an idiot in front of me. Nilapit niya ang mukha niya sa akin halos isang dangkal na lang ang pagitan namin.

"And you look like my wife that needs to take care of." he made it a joke pero tinaasan niya pa din ako ng kilay.

Nag iwas ako ng tingin at bumalik siya sa kinakatayuan niya while looking at me once again. Tumikhim muna ako at hindi pa din nawawala ang sakit ng ulo ko at pansin ko na nanunuyo ang lalamunan ko.

"My Father called me, Mr. Forsythe and Dad said that I have to pick you up later."

"Why?"

"My Father invited your family for dinner tonight." Mahinang sagot ko.

He just agreed so I have nothing to do with him for now, tumayo na ako. Nawalan na naman ako sa balanse na biglang may humawak sa waist ko.

Parang hindi ako makahinga. Inayos ko agad ang sarili ko.

Lumapit siya sa akin at hinawakan na naman niya ang noo ko.
