"What the hell are we doing here?!" My jaw dropped dramatically.

Karamihan sa piloto at stewardess ay binabati nila ako— dahil kilala ako dito as the successful Chairperson sa Solis.

"Welcome to Japan." he shrugged.

Akala ko nag bibiro lang siya!

Leon already called a taxi papunta sa hotel na tutuluyan namin.

"You're unbelievable."

"Just accept it."

"Ugh, whatevs."

Malapit lang ang hotel na tutuluyan namin at saktong nakarating agad kami.

Habang nag lalakad kami ni Leon, someone bumps me.

"Are you okay— oh, fancy meeting you here, Mirus Caelum."

Yeah, right.

Tinulungan niya akong tumayo and Leon excused himself for a moment.

Pumunta kami sa cafe and bar and she ordered some tea and I did the same.

"The one whom I met in San Francisco." Ngisi ko and I crossed my arms.

I texted Leon kung saan kami pumunta and I told him to come over.

"Can I introduce myself now? You cut me off noong nasa park tayo." Doon siya tumawa ng tumawa kaya napailing na lang ako sa ugali niya.

Hindi man lang nag bago.

Hinayaan ko lang siya mag salita hanggang sa pinakilala niya na ang sarili niya which I already knew.

"I'm Quintessa Louisiana Ricasio." she reaches my hand at nakipagkamay siya.

Inabot niya ang calling card niya sa 'kin at binasa ko ito.

"Alpha Technologies?"

Sa kanya pala 'yon?

Ilang minuto pa kami nag-uusap tungkol sa trabaho and about us until I stand up.

"I should head back. Hinihintay pa ako ng kasama ko." Tumalikod na ako and I wave my goodbye.

"Boyfriend mo?" tanong niya.

"Whatevs, he's just a friend. See you around."

"I really love your british accent." Pahabol niya.

Sa hindi kalayuan, napansin ko na nakatingin si Leon sa gawi ko while he wears a shades and his favorite topcoat.

I gave him a smile pero hindi ko alam kung nakita niya ba ito as I started walking towards him.

"Sabi ko sumunod ka, e." tugon ko.

Leon leans on the railings while looking at me and he didn't respond.

I almost forgot, he's an introvert and Leon doesn't like strangers. Dededmahin niya lang.

Pumasok muna ako sa loob para ayusin ang susuotin ko at maliligo ako.

Nag stay muna si Leon sa labas at ako naman ay pumasok na.

I soaked my body in the tub together with hot water.

I tried to ease my mind for a while and let it flow calmly.

After an hour, nakalabas na din ako at hindi ko napansin si Leon na nasa pinto din and stumble back at natumba ako.

"Fuck, you okay?" I grab Leon's hand at nahulog din ang twalya sa buhok ko.
