Forever Mine

Chapter 3

Today was the day I get to marry the love of my life. July 10th was finally here. We found the most perfect venue. The ceremony was taking place outside then all the guests would head into the barn. It was a rustic themed wedding. Everything had come together perfectly.

The makeup artist was just finishing up with my makeup. My hair already in an updo. She just finished putting the lip gloss on my lips. I turn to Emma who is holding Ella. They both look amazing. Emma's hair in a half up half down in a maroon colored dress. Ella had her hair up in a high ballerina bun with her puffy flower girl dress. She was so excited when we asked her to be a flower girl.

"How do I look?!" I ask nervously.

"You look beautiful. You're going to make the most beautiful bride Av!" She squeals with excitement.

"I wanna see Uncle Cwase!" Ella still couldn't say Chase's name right.

"Ok we can go see him but we have to be back soon to take pictures with Aunt Avery!" She kisses Ella's forehead.

Ella waddles over to me and hugs me.

"Give this to Uncle Chase for me, ok?" I smile at Ella and hand her an envelope addressed to Chase.

"How do I look?" Emma asks me nervously.

"Gorgeous." I smile at her.

Chase and Evan were getting ready in another section of the venue. Evan and Chase became pretty inseparable since we moved here. Evan also asked Emma out so they are happily dating. Everyone around me was so happy. I was so happy.

Emma and Ella went to go see Chase and Evan. The makeup and hair crew had left so it was just me. I couldn't wait to read Chase's letter. We both wrote each other letters to read before the wedding. I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in!" I yell.

It was the photographer, Harper.

"Let's get some solo pictures of you, then some with Emma and Ella before the wedding." She smiles at me.

"Thanks Harper." I smile back.

I lift up my dress and begin to walk out the door. We head outside to the field. It was gorgeous. Perfect for pictures. We began to take a few but I realized I had forgot my bracelet. It was gold with little pearls on it.

"Oh Harper! I will be right back I left my bracelet in the room!"

I lift up my dress and speed walking back to the ring to grab it. I pick it up and put it on when I notice an envelope addressed to me. My heart filled up with excitement. I couldn't wait to read what Chase had wrote. I picked up the envelope. It felt like something was in it. Huh. I wonder what it was.

"My dearest Avery,
Did you miss me? Sorry to crash your wedding, well to be honest I'm really not. You and I are still married my dear. I told you that before. You forgot your ring but don't worry, I left it in the envelope here for you. I can't wait to see you. We have lots of catching up to do. You're in a lot of trouble. But don't worry I still love you just the same no matter what you did. See you so very soon."

Before I can react I get a notification on my phone. It was the news app.

"Breaking news Cohen family escaped from prison."

My whole body froze. My heart was pounding harder than ever. Liam had escaped. Not only that but he was close. I know this was him. He wrote me this letter and put it in here. The ring. I began to hyperventilate. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. I felt so sick. I felt like I was going to pass out. I ran to grab my phone to call Chase. I was too afraid to even leave the room. What if Liam was out there just waiting to take me at any second?! He wasn't kidding. He told me he was coming back to get me. I could never escape him. He was so sick. He could never let me go.

I heard a fist pounding at the door. I began to cry. What if it was Liam? He was going to kill me when he saw me!

"It's Robbie!" He screamed.

I ran to the door and hugged him. I soaked his chest with my tears.

"L-L-Liam e-escaped." Saying the words out loud made it worse.

"I know that's why I'm here. Chase sent me to get you. He's waiting for you now. He told me to grab you. You and Emma are going into protective custody." His voice was stern.

Why hadn't Chase came to got me? I was too upset to even think about it.

"Come on let's go." He takes my arm and is pulling me out the door.

I hear my phone ringing. It's still still on the dresser. I don't even care. I just need to see Chase. I need to know Emma and Ella are ok. Did Emma receive a note too?

We continue to run.

"What about my family?" I croak.
"Chase texted them they are going to meet at the witness protection house."

We were now running down the stairs to the parking lot. We finally arrive the parking lot empty except a few other cars are here.

"Where's Chase? And Emma and Ella?" I say out of breath.

"Oh they should be here any second." I look at Robbie and he has an evil smile on his face.

It made me feel uneasy.

Chase's pov:

Mine, and Evan's phones went off at the same time.

Liam and Ryan and Andrew had escaped from prison.

I knew it was only a matter of time now that they would came looking for Avery and Emma. We should've done more about that note that was left in the apartment. Why didn't I do anything more?

We both look at each other struck with fear.
"GO NOW!" I scream.

"Call me when you find Emma and Ella. I'll do the same. I'll call the police." I say still scared to death.

I whip out my phone and call Avery.
"Come on, come on, pick up!" I cry out to myself. 

She doesn't answer. I run to the other side of the place where we were getting ready in. Her room that her And Emma got ready in was on the other side of the house. I run into the room and the door is left wide open. Avery's phone is sitting there and I see a note on the table. I breeze through it. Liam had already been here. He was here to take Avery again.

Avery's pov:
I'm still trembling with fear.
"Where is Chase??" I snap at Robbie.
"Oh I think this is him now."

A black suv is pulling into the gravel parking lot. The door opens. There is he is.

"Thanks Robbie, but I'll take it from here."

He gives Robbie a nod.

"Oh she forgot this." Robbie holds up the ring and throws it to him

"Miss me baby? I told you that you would never escape from me." Liam smiles an evil grin.

Guess whose back. Back again😏 damn he's a wedding crasher alright. So Robbie was helping Liam?? I could resist posting another chapter today lol. I needed the action to start back up again!! I hope you guys love!! Comment and vote 😊😊
