Forever Mine

Chapter 27

My legs been to wobble. I felt sick. I felt uneasy. My babies were possibly at risk. What would happen if I needed a C-section? I didn't care about myself anymore. I just didn't want to put my babies in harms way. I didn't want them to die. I couldn't live with myself.

I ran into the living room.
"SEE! I FUCKING TOLD YOU! I CAN'T DELIVER HERE! WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME?!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

Both Liam and Dr. Evans were looking at me.

"YOU!" I point to Dr. Evans.
"YOU LIAR! You lied to me! You told me my babies will be fine! Get out of here! I don't want you anywhere near my children!" I yell.

"ENOUGH!" Liam screams at me.
"Go upstairs." He says through gritted teeth.
I stand there for a moment testing him. I see that devilish look in his eyes. I know not to test it anymore.

I couldn't just go upstairs and wait for him. We would only argue. Things would go his way and not mine, like always. I needed to talk to someone that actually understands. Emma got to go to the hospital, in a disguise of course. Ryan went with her too. She got to deliver Ella with no complications. Why did I have to be forced to deliver here? Granted Emma did not say a word about being kidnapped Ella was at stake. And the fact that he threatened her whole family. Liam couldn't really threaten mine, if he went back to the states they would catch him in an instant. I snuck to the front door. Liam never locked it. They were talking the living room. They wouldn't see me, I just had to be quick. 

I made my to the door and quietly closed it behind me. I waddled my way over to Ryan and Emma's. I hadn't really thought this through. Ryan would answer the front door and drag me right back to Liam. I had to try. 

I knocked on the door and Ryan answered.

"Avery what the fuck?" Ryan snaps.

"Avery?!" Emma quickly appears at the door. 

My heart breaks when I see her. I see her lip is bruised and swollen. Ryan had hurt her. 

"P-please. I need to talk to Emma. Please it is urgent." I beg to Ryan.

"You are not supposed to be here. Liam is going to kill you when he knows you're here. Let's go I am taking you back." He forcefully grabs my arm. 

"Please! Five minutes! That's all. Please. This is Liam's fault. He is the one that left the door unlocked. He is already angry enough at me. Let him be more angry. Teach him a lesson. He should know better to lock the door. Teach him a lesson." 

I really shooting myself in the foot now. After this I would never see the light of day. But I knew if I played my hostage card right Ryan would fall for it. 

Ryan laughs.

"You're right. That idiot. Never learns." He gives a grin.

He pushes me in and locks the door behind him. I run to Emma and hug her. She takes my arm and leads me up the stairs. She brings me into their room and locks the door behind her. Ella must have been napping.

"Avery? What is going on?" She looks at me panicked.

"I heard Liam and Dr. Evans talking. Dr. Evans thinks it would be better if I went to the hospital. I might need a C-section. I could be at risk for loosing one of the babies. Emma I can't loose them. I know they are a product of him, but I feel that is my duty to protect them. They are all I have left. Please you have to help me. Liam won't take me to the hospital." I cry. 

"Okay, it will all be ok we will figure this out. We can talk to them. Come up with a plan. If you don't deliver at the hospital he could also be at risk for loosing you. He doesn't want that. He would be lost without you. When he comes we will talk to him. We will work this out it is all going to be okay Av." 

Liam's pov:

I let Dr. Evans out and storm up the stairs. God I can't believe her. She had the audacity to go behind my back and ask that question then storm in and yell at Dr. Evans. I was so angry at her. I lost my patience. I didn't care. She needed to be punished. I throw the door open to our bedroom. She isn't in there. I check the bathroom. You've gotta be fucking kidding me. She isn't serious right now. 

"WHAT THE FUCK AVERY!" I punch a hole into the wall. 

I know where she is. Where she isn't supposed to be. Because she never listens. I storm over to Ryan's.

I pound my fist into the door. Ryan quickly appears and grins.

"I knew you would be here soon little bro." He laughs.

"Where the fuck is she." I say through gritted teeth. 

"That a way." He points to the stairs.

I run up the stairs to their room. I can hear Avery's cries. 

I open the door and watch as it flies open. Avery is crying into Emma's arms. Emma looks at me and her face goes white. Avery looks up too and her face does just the same. 

"Liam please, don't be mad I can explain." 

"DON'T BE MAD?!" I roar.

"YOU JUST GOT UP AND FUCKING LEFT! I TOLD YOU COULDN'T SEE EMMA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? HERE SEEING EMMA! MY GOD YOU'RE SO FUCKING DUMB! YOU CAN NEVER LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS!" My breathing is heavy my fists are clenched. 

"Liam please. She just needed to talk that was all. She needs to go to a hospital. She can not deliver Wren and Liliah here! They could die! She could die! Do you want to loose Avery?" Emma yells at me.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! THIS IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" I yell at her.

It causes her to flinch. Avery just recoils back into Emma and continues to cry.

"Avery lets go. NOW!" I yell.

She doesn't move just continues to cry and shake in fear. Good. She needed to learn.

"Avery! LET'S GO!"

Ella begins to cry in her room. Ryan rushes up the steps to console her. Emma is struck with fear and doesn't move. I am not waiting around anymore. I am not playing games anymore. 

I waltz over to the two and grab Avery's arm. She tries to resist but I am stronger. She has no power here. She has no choice but to follow. She looks back at Emma. Emma is powerless too. They are both under us. They always will be. 

Avery can play her games. She can pretend. But I will always be there. One step ahead. To knock her off her high horse. She will always fall under my grasp. Until the day I die.
