𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 // tsukasa

💫 • 🥀 // angst & poem.

   ON ONE NIGHT a male had met a female, her
e/c orbs were such that put him in such a trance.

   on one night; he spoke to the girl. "your eyes are such a beauty.. why would you hide it?" he asked. seeing of how she wore a blindfold,

   "my prince. you see; if such beauties existed- wouldn't we humans take advantage of them?" she spoke as the male stared.

   she truly was a wonder.

   on one night, his father spoke.. his brother was going to have an arranged marriage. of course the male called tsukasa was glad for his older brother yet,

   when his amber orbs fell upon the girl with those special e/c eyes. he felt as if time stopped, the birds chirping- his father's compliments to her eyes.

   yes. that was what he felt;

   on one night, the prince purposed to the girl- to run away with him. for he; has fallen in love.

   the girl simply smiled, speaking words he didn't want to hear. "i must marry your brother my dear.  for my kingdom, if i were to not. are nations would be at war."

   "even so!" spoke the male, as the she hushed him. "fear not. for when our marriage is over, i'll go to you. running away with you; as i fake my death." tsukasa's face lit up upon those words,

   words he'll wait for- for all eternity. no matter what. he would sit,

  as the gods spoke, he would sit, as others told him to leave. he would stay. waiting for you,

   yet even so..

  on one night. your death struck. yet you didn't go to tsukasa; he saw how you ran away with his brother.

   "don't tell anyone.. me and your brother do not wish to be here. so please— do not utter a word." the girl said, the male nodded.

  struggling to speak- he didn't want it. you promised. oh how much the male wished to say : don't go.

   yet even so he watched as you held Amane's hand, entering that carriage which held you two. he watched your smile.... his brother's smile.

   and with that he decided,

   on one night.

   your smile,

   his brothers smile,

   on one day.

   tsukasa decided.

   he.. would be a good little brother.

  "EXECUTE THE PRINCE!" they shouted- "HE KILLED THE QUEEN! THE KING!" they cried.

   "any last words.. prince." his knight spoke, "on one night, i fell in love with somebody who didn't love me back." said tsukasa, smiling at his "people" whilst they shouted for him to be executed.

   tears fell; even if the male convinced himself. to be good- to the two of you. he couldn't help but cry,

  the world was just to cruel; to unfair.

  yet that is fine, your smile.. was enough to convince him. your happiness, was enough to make him smile.

  tsukasa smiled. "i love you y/n."

  and on that day; the blade fell.

  on that day. the prince had died.

  on that night; he fell in love.

DOES THIS COUNT AS A POEM?? i don't know.

here's the story though;

tsukasa met y/n, a girl who he had fallen in love with. yet when he found out a marriage would be held for her and his brother.

he wanted to run away with her yet- she promised she would do so. oh that was a lie,

the young girl had soon overtime- fallen in love with amane. leaving tsukasa;

the people wondered where the Queen and king went, he had no excuse. yet one remained,

to say he murdered you both, for the throne. and so on that day; tsukasa was executed.
