I know that I haven't updated in a while, I'm just not feeling too great. We all have our issues and our down days, and I've just got a lot going on lately - I do apologize, and I'm sorry. Please do vote and comment though, it keeps me motivated to know that people are reading.

Third Person POV

The guest list was short and simple for the wedding; family and close friends. Olivia and Brett had decided to have the wedding in a small little church, and the after-party would be held at an engagement room.

Simple, and close-knit. The way they wanted it.

Kyle was the best man. Charlotte was the maid of honour, standing with a bouquet of flowers. In the crowd, Phoebe sat with Adam and Liam. Talia sat with her boyfriend, Chris. Olivia's parents sat together despite the break-up. And a few others, including Lucy and her family, sat together too.

"Nice dress.", Adam takes a short glance towards Phoebe.

She smiles politely and nods. "Thanks.", She whispers, taking a quick look at Adam before looking back towards her brother and Olivia. Olivia's dress was gorgeous, it was tight at the top and flowed outwards the further down it got.

She looked beautiful.

Phoebe couldn't help but watch the way Brett looked down at Olivia. The way his eyes lit up with happiness and hope and love. She couldn't help but to notice the way Olivia mirrored that look so naturally and honestly.

She didn't take notice of the vows up until I do.

Brett was the first to admit his vow to marry and be with Olivia. Phoebe thought about what Olivia had found out just days ago, and it made her wonder if she was even affected by the fact that her husband had killed her ex.

What had happened?

Why had it happened?

Did she ask? Or did she leave it?

"I do," Olivia whispers, eyes shimmering with love.

Liam and Adam straightened when the words, "You may now kiss your bride", left the man's lips. Phoebe smiled. Talia smiled. Olivia's mother was crying silently. And the rest of the room was in complete awe at these two souls completely in love.

These two souls should not have fallen in love but did.

And despite everything, despite normality and everything that had happened, they were together finally. Brett wouldn't let her go, not now and not ever. Everybody sitting in the church knew that.

And then Brett took Olivia's small face in his calloused and bloodied hands and kissed her with everything that he had, and everything that he was. He kissed her as if nobody else was sitting in that church, he kissed her as if was the last time he'd be able to kiss her.

He kissed her without restraint, and Olivia hummed in response.

Love; a funny thing, it is.

Love; a dangerous thing, it is.

Love; a thing worth living for...

And Phoebe felt the need to look at Liam now, wanting to know what he felt watching this. She wanted to know what he thought about marriage and love. Instead, she smiled and watched her brother love the woman that he'd fallen for.

Phoebe did not look at Liam.

Liam looked to Phoebe though.

His head turned to the side and his brown eyes found her side profile, and he noticed the way her eyes glossed over at the sight before them. Phoebe, the stone-cold woman, was affected by something as whimsical and mythical as love.
