June 7.

Baltimore.

I have my day mapped out.

I've had it mapped out for weeks.

They play a show tomorrow night, giving us a full free day today.

I woke up before everyone else, running to the bathroom to change so we can go out the second everyone is up.

I took advantage of another one of the outfits I had gotten with Chelsea, this time the blue sundress.

I felt cute today. The dress was perfect for today's weather and the black converse added a personalized touch.

I slept with my hair in a braid, giving it some waves. I didn't bring any styling tools and I don't want to bother Chelsea with it, so this is about as fancy as my hair will look for the next few months.

Everyone is still asleep, leaving me to wait in the kitchen.

I sat there for thirty minutes now, patiently waiting for someone to wake up.

Maybe not patiently.

But I'm sitting here waiting.

After a long wait, my father turns up, joining me at the table.

I jump up, grabbing him an orange juice before sitting back with him, a smile plastered on my face.

He gives me a light smile in return, but he honestly looks terrified at my expression. He twists the cap on his bottle slowly, taking a sip and putting the cap back on. The smile is still on my face, and he looks around the room, trying to avoid the conversation that is about to come up, but every time he looks at me he is greeted by the biggest grin you've ever seen.

"So..." I start, tapping the table as I talk, acting like nothing is on my mind.

"So..." he repeats my words.

"You tired?"

"Yeah," he nods, and I let out a fake sigh.

"That's a shame," I drop my head. "I was really hoping you'd be up and ready to go. Big day today."

He takes another sip of his juice. "Why's that?" he questions, clearly just to irritate me. I give him a blank expression, hoping he isn't being serious.

"Kidding," his puts on a reassuring smile, but his face drops back to normal when he sees I'm unamused. "Stop with that face, you're freaking me out."

"When will you be ready?"

"Jesus, Jase I just woke up," he sighs.

I take a look at the imaginary watch on my wrist, pointing to it and turning my arm so he can look as well. "Clocks ticking. Only twenty-four hours in a day and it's already nine a.m."

He looks over the table to my nonexistent watch. "We'll leave at ten-thirty. That work for you?"

"I guess it'll have to," I groan, as a joke, but he gives me a look and I mutter a 'sorry'.

The next hour and a half kill me. Like, actually. I had to keep checking my pulse making sure I was still alive. It felt like I was waiting for eternity.

I'm still sat in the kitchen, twiddling my thumbs to pass the time. When he comes back ready to go, my head perks up in excitement.

Chelsea and Scott join us, Brendan trailing behind.

I text Harry to make sure the four of them are ready to go if they plan on joining. I am not letting anyone hold me up.

He replies with a 'Yes, chill out we're coming'.
