Chapter 15

Becketts pov.

Waking up alone in my bed wasn't something new to me. I was used to it. But now all I wanted was for him to be next to me when I wake up or even just hold him in my arms. Toby was different. Maybe it was because he's a natural sub and I've never had a natural sub. Most submissives I have are only putting on a front. A mask. But I can always see right through those masks and put up a mask of my own. With Toby, I can be natural because he is natural. 

Today could be his last day with me forever if he decided to end what we had right now. Or it could be his last day with me for this week if he wanted to keep what we had going. Last night I had stayed up thinking about future scenarios with me and toby. Both sexual and non-sexual. I liked the sexual ones a little too much. 

Getting out of bed, as I know I have work to do, I get on with my day. Something I found myself doing which I've bever had before was going to the guest bedroom first. Just to check on Toby. With my past sub, I could care less about them and knew they would be fine regardless if I checked on them or not. But for him, I just had to check on him or it felt wrong.

Opening the door of his bedroom I immediately look at the lump under the comforter of the bed. Every morning I checked on him he was in the same position. Always curled up under the covers while cuddling a pillow. How I envied that stupid pillow.

Walking into the room and sitting on the bed next to Tobys' body I reach out and begin to run my hands through his hair. I loved his hair, just something about it made me feel warm inside every time I played with it. Like always, toby reacts by pushing into my hand and letting out a soft sigh. I Allow myself to provide him some comfort for a little bit before leaving his room and making my way to my office.

Growing up the world wasn't as advanced as it is now so I always had an interest in technology and the way things worked. Deciding to take my interest and create a career out of it. I made multiple devices, some of which I have in my own house, and I look at old things and work with developers to help add new things or modify things. Somehow one of the devices I made got well known which helped me start my own business. It's not big like Apple or anything, nor do I want it to be, but it gives me a lot of money. More than I need.

I didn't mind waking up early to work, most of the time went by quickly or I spent my time doing paperwork and emails which were simple enough. Today I had to confirm a few things with some developers as I was starting a new project soon so I needed to prepare for that too.

It was around nine am when I left my office and decided to make breakfast. Not wanting to make something intricate I decided on some eggs with toast.

By the time I finished cooking Toby still hadn't come out of his room so I made sure the stove was turned off and made the journey to his bedroom. Opening the door I could see Toby was still deep in his sleep. This time Cookie was curled up next to him but was awake and watching me with her freaky eyes. I hated that damn cat. It left a lot of hair behind everywhere and took up Toby's time which should be spent with me.

"It's time to wake up I made us some breakfast come to the dining room when you're ready." I made sure he was awake before leaving the room. Something I learned was that unless toby was exhausted he was easy enough to wake up.

I had just sat down at the table when Toby walked into the room rubbing his eyes. Since today could be his last day I'm going to make the most of it. Patting my lap as a sign I wanted him to sit there, he didn't even falter and instead immediately made his way to me. It was probably due to the fact that he just woke up but I couldn't help but relish the way he cuddled up to me. Wrapping my arms around his waist I situate him where he's basically wrapped around me like a monkey.

Leaning back a little so I could see his face as it was buried in my neck I speak softly. "Today I'm going to feed you is that okay?" seeing as he was still tired all he did was nod and open his mouth a little. Chuckling I reach around him and grab a spoonful of eggs before directing it to his mouth. Like always when he tastes my food he unknowingly lets out a groan of satisfaction. Which of course boosted my ego way too much.

Alternating between feeding toby and then myself it took no time for us to finish all the food. By then Toby also seemed to have woken up but didn't say anything about our current position and continued sitting on my lap silently. "Alright go get ready for class and pack up your stuff your not coming home with me today." Which made me upset in a way I didn't understand.

Hopping off my lap he takes out dishes and puts them in the sink before doing as I said.

One the way off me dropping toby off at school i couldn't help but drive slower than normal to prolong knowing the decision he would make. I couldn't put a finger on it but toby was different than other subs. A different that I wanted to keep no matter what. Despite that, if he didn't want me I would let him go. Sighing I realize that Toby's school is right around the corner.

Pulling up and into a parking lot I turn off the engine and then turn to toby who already looking at me. I could tell he was nervous which was not a good sign for me.

"Alright. It's been four days since we started this and while I hope you enjoyed it I understand if you don't want to continue and I won't bother you again after this." I said looking him in the eye. I needed to make sure he was sure and not basing his decision on me or anyone else. It wouldn't be easy for either of us if he said yes then changed his mind too late.

"I thought about it and I want to continue this, it's been nice and fun and new. I just might need some time to get used to things sometimes but I would really like to continue this." He says with red cheeks. Before I could answer he utters out a quick goodbye and rushed out the door into his school.

I watch him walk away, or really his lower half, before releasing a breath I didn't know I was holding and leaned back into the seat. He actually said yes. I really thought he was going to say no especially because he wasn't a baby/sub before and I had kinda forced him into this.

Deciding not to dwell on it too long and just be glad he said yes I turn the engine back on and leave the school parking lot. All with a smile on my face.
