I didn't want to believe either. It was all a shock to me, too. Standing there, seeing him not a human. Eyes glowing ice blue. Thick, dark hair on the sides of his face. Large, pointed ears. Snout of a dog. Fangs of a predator. I didn't want to believe any of it. You read about them in stories. You see them on television. But in reality? There was no way.
The supernatural world is real. As much as I didn't believe it at first either, it's true. They are real. Werewolves. Kanima's. Dread Doctors. Banshees. It was like one, long dream. I couldn't bring myself to wake up.
From growing up a miserable life in foster care, to meeting Scott McCall to becoming apart of his pack, it's changed my life. That doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing. We've met new people, gained new allies, lost the ones we called family. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. That's how it was for me.
