I passed the next day packing everything I would have needed during this year and searching about this school.

I was very curious and a little excited about that, but at the same time I was really worried and scared. What if I couldn't make friend even there? It would have been all a waste and then everyone would have made fun of me once I got back to my old school.

The journey to London was nice. I had never been to London, and I wanted to see more about it, but we didn't have time to visit the city.

Mom and I reached the station in London, but my mom couldn't enter because she had to leave sooner than she expected.

"I'm so sorry I can't enter and stay with you honey" she was really sorry, but I understood.

"It's okay mom, really, I have only to take a train, it's not that difficult right?" I said to convince more myself than her.

She nodded "c'mon go, I have to go and you too, bye mom"

"bye honey, please be safe and try to make friend, I love you, write me as much as you can"

"yes, I promise, I love you too, bye mom"

I turned and went to the enter of the station. I knew I had to cross the wall between the platforms nine and ten, I read it in the letter the headmaster sent me. I only had to find those platforms.

While I was watching at my ticket and tried to figure out where I had to go, my trunk collided against another one.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, I wasn't pay attention." I said panicking, first five minutes and I have already messed up everything. Good job, Hannah.

"There's no problem, I'm sorry, I didn't pay attention too"

I looked at him nervously, he was a good-looking boy with brown hair and green eyes

"Is there something broken? I can pay you back, I'm so sorry"

"It's okay, really." He seemed very calm and I liked that, at least he wasn't yelling at me. I wasn't sure to say that but the whole point was to make friends, and he seemed a student- "I'm Hannah Nolan by the way" I said with an uncertain tone because I wasn't sure he was interested in that but I tried to be the kindest person, I knew one of my aim was to make friend. Everyone wants to be friend with a kind person, right?

"I'm Harry Potter", I smiled at him

"Nice to meet you Harry"

"Nice to meet you too".

After putting all of my stuff on the train I started to look for a free place, but all of the cabins seemed to be full. I was going to give up and to sit down on the floor when I heard someone say my name.

"Hannah, what are you doing here?" it was Harry, probably he saw me passing by and sitting down "Come with me, there is a free place in this cabinet, c'mon" He was smiling at me.

People here are more welcoming than in Ilvermorny, that is for sure. As I went to the cabinet where Harry was waiting for me, I saw that there were other people and I started panicking because I really didn't know how to act, what to say. I was really preoccupied.

"These are Ron and Hermione, my best friends." He was pointing to the boy and girl in front of me

"guys, she is Hannah. I met her at the station in a really weird way actually" he laughed remembering how we met

"yes, my fault" I smiled shily "Hi, I'm Hannah. Nice to meet you" with a very shy tone.

"Hi" "Hello" they seemed to be okay and I tried to relax myself on the seat. They were beautiful.

"Are you new here? I have never seen you in the corridors and you don't seem to be a first year" Ron was really nice. I smiled

"uhm, yes, I'm new. I'm from Ilvermorny, I'll make an exchange year because I didn't really like my school in the USA, so my parents sent me here. They say it is a really good school". I started relaxing while I was talking, they were very nice to me.

"It is" Hermione interrupted me "How is living in the USA?" she asked me with a curious smile on her face, she was very beautiful, her brown eyes were looking at me curiously.

"It is okay, uhm, I like it but sometimes I wish I lived in a smaller town; when I'm not at school, I live in New York. It is a very big city".

Ron laughed "you will like Hogwarts then". All of us laughed.

We kept talking about everything during the journey, they explained to me everything I needed to know about Hogwarts and what happened in the past years. They explained to me about the four houses, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. All of them were Gryffindors and I wished I were sorted in Gryffindor too to stay with them, at least I would have known someone in the house. They also said to me that Hermione was the first in every classes she takes.

"Wait, are you a fifth year, aren't you? I don't want to be the only girl in this group again"

"hey, this one hurts" Ron imitated a stab in the chest, and we all laughed

"Yes, yes, I'm a fifth year. I'm here saving you." We laughed while Hermione rolled her eyes laughing as well. We were arriving at the train station when three boys who were walking stopped in front of our cabin.

"Well, well, are you losers having fun?" said the first boy, he was tall, with blonde hair, almost white, and blue eyes. He tried to make us laugh but he didn't succeed. Instead the other two boys laughed at his joke.

"Go away Malfoy" Harry was clearly upset, and he rolled his eyes when he first saw this Malfoy, probably they didn't like each other very much.

But obviously he continued "what do we have here?" looking at me "I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. And who are you honey?"

"I don't care who you are actually" I said frankly. He hasn't done me anything, but I didn't like his tone from the beginning.

"oooh, not very friendly. I can understand why you are making friend with them. See you at the castle losers" he looked to harry and then to me, but I tried not to low my head.

Ron sighed "I really hate him" and then he turned to me "This is why Hannah we don't want you to be a Slytherin."
