Always You

CHAPTER 15

The day of the ball arrived and the atmosphere at Hogwarts was unique. Professor Flitwick put all the Christmas decoration, and everything was perfect. Most of the students were outside on the garden playing with the snow and enjoying themselves before the ball, which would be held that evening.

Hermione, Ginny and I went to our dormitory to get dressed and prepared ourselves for the evening, it was already late afternoon and we were so excited that we couldn't wait another minute to prepare everything together.

I didn't tell them what happened that night with Draco and what he told me. I already knew what they would have said, and I wanted to avoid their lecture. I was happy for what Draco said to me, he was still thinking about me, and maybe he was sorry for what happened, but on the other hand I was angry at him because he couldn't behave like that. I couldn't stand his behaviour.

When we arrived at our dorm, I started to take my dress from the closet, and when I turned myself to put all on my bed, I saw there was something it.

It was a small black package. I sat on my bed and I took it in my hands. I started to unpack it, and before I could see what it was, I noticed there was a piece of paper on it, and it said

"Merry Christmas Hannah".

It wasn't signed, and I really hadn't a clue who gave it to me. I opened the package, and I saw a necklace with a little diamond in the centre of it. It was so beautiful and fine. I was a bit of shocked because I really didn't expect anything like this, and the fact it wasn't signed made me even more curious. 

The girls saw that and asked me what it was, when I turned to show it, they couldn't say nothing because of its beauty.

"who gave it to you, Hannah?" Hermione asked while she was still looking at it.

"I don't know, it isn't signed, and I don't have a clue" I sighed.

"it's beautiful Hannah" Ginny said smiling

"you should wear it tonight. It is perfect with your dress"

"yes, I think I will wear it" I smiled. I was really happy, even though I really wanted to know who gave it to me.

We dressed up, then we helped each other with hair and makeup. It was the only night I really felt beautiful.

"before going there, I want to take some picture with this. Harry explained to me how it works, and I want to have some memorises of this night with my best friends" I said while taking in my left hand the camera

"Of course. I want some pictures too" exclaimed excited Ginny.

We took a lot of picture together and some of them didn't come out well, but we didn't care at all.

When we finished, we called also Harry, Ron, Neville, Seamus and Dean who wasn't so sure to come in my bedroom, but then Seamus encouraged him to come.

We took a lot of picture also with them, and I knew I was going to take care of them very well, because I wanted to have these photos for the rest of my life.

We were all ready to go, and we exited our common room to go to the Great Hall. Blaise and I were going to meet there.

"You all look perfect girls" said Harry.

We smiled "You too guys, you are perfect" I replied smiling.

Dean hinted a smile, and it was more than ever happened in these months. We arrived at the entrance of the Great hall, and I saw Blaise talking to some Slytherins while waiting for me.
