Always You

CHAPTER 4

When I woke up, I realized I was the only one awake, so I started to prepare myself, getting dressed, trying not to make noises and wake up Hermione and Ginny. I wanted to be ready for the day, so I prepared my bag with all the books I needed for the day.

When Hermione and Ginny woke up and got dressed too, we went to the great hall to have breakfast.

I ate some cereals and I started to be nervous thinking that for my very first lesson at Hogwarts I was alone. When we finished our breakfast, I went to the potions class even thought I didn't know where it was. Hermione explained it to me, but I had already forgotten the way.

It was starting to get late and I didn't know where I was, until I heard a voice I didn't recognize "Are you lost, honey?" to that nickname I rolled my eyes and turned to see Malfoy laughing at me. 

"Where is potions class? This castle in huge" I said looking myself around. I didn't really know where I was.

"Do you have potions class now?"

"apparently".

"Me too, follow me Gryffindor". I couldn't ask for better.

The only person I didn't want to stay with was in the same class with me. Perfect.

When we arrived I presumed we were in the dungeons.

"Here we go love" smiling

"Don't call me in that way" and I entered in the room seeing the professor, professor Snape, was already in there.

"I'm sorry, professor, I got lost" I said, I felt uncomfortable.

"I presume you are the new student. Miss Nolan, is that right?" he asked me looking from top to bottom

"yes, sir" he made me feel nervous, he was really strange.

"since you two arrived late" he started to say to me and Malfoy "you'll be paired for the entire school year. The other students already took a partner. Take your seat"

I was shocked. I arrived late to my first lesson and I have Malfoy has a partner for the entire school year. This couldn't be good. I sighed and took the only free seat.

"It will be fun, Gryffindor" Malfoy whispered to my ear.

"This can't be real" I said to myself and sighed.

Professor Snape started again to speak and to explain the potion we were going to make. I tried not to be distracted by Malfoy and fortunately he stayed quiet for most of the time but when Snape stopped explain and said to start making this potion, I knew I had to talk to him because we needed to work together.

"Okay so, I think we have to work together, so please don't be an asshole all the time and we'll be okay. Is that right?" I tried to be the more convinced I could be. I wanted him to pay respect to me.

"Ok darling. I'll go to pick up all the ingredients. You go to take the cauldron and then we'll start" I nodded.

The lesson went well, and Malfoy didn't bother me at all except for sometimes, which it was surprising, but I was glad he acted like that.

When the lesson was over, I walked out the room and tried to figure out where transfiguration class was.

"You need some help, don't you?" I turned to see Dean smiling at me.

"yes, uhm, I have transfiguration class and I don't know where it is" I smiled embarrassed.

"Come, I have a free hour and I have to go to that way".
