"So, what's the plan?" I asked as Five looked around the kitchen for coffee and I looked for food.

"I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that we have to stop the apocalypse," he said.

I nodded and went back to looking for food.

"There's like no food in this place!" I complained.

"Y/N, there's a shit ton of food," Five said.

"Yeah, well I don't want any of it."

"Then what do you want?" he asked.

"Honestly, a donut from Griddy's," I said.

He chuckles, "You wake up after seventeen years and all you want is a donut?"

"No. A donut from Griddy's."

He smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Where's Vanya?" Allison asked as she walked in and set her coat down.

"Oh, she's gone," Klaus said sitting at the table.

"That's unfortunate," Five said.

"Yeah," Allison said.

"An entire square block. Forty-two bedrooms, nineteen bathrooms, but no, not a single drop of coffee," Five complained.

"Dad hated caffeine," Allison said.

"Well, he hated children, too, and he had plenty of us," Klaus laughed.

Well, he's not wrong.

"We're taking the car," Five said grabbing my hand.

"Where are you two going?" Klaus asked sitting up in the chair.

"To get a decent cup of coffee," Five stated the obvious.

"Do you even know how to drive?" Allison asked.

"I know how to do everything," Five said.

I looked at him and then back at Allison, "pray for me."

"Ha ha. Let's go," Five spatial jumped us into the car.

I put my seatbelt on, "Are we going to Griddy's?"

"Of course, they have good coffee," Five said starting the car.

"Any other reason?" I smiled and wiggled my eyebrows.

"Nothing else comes to mind," He smirked.

I lightly slapped his arm.

"Oh yeah. You can get your stupid donut while we're there," He started driving.

I smiled and rolled my eyes.

We pulled into a parking spot in front of Griddy's and got out of the car. Five took my hand and we walked inside. He sat down on a stool at the counter, and I sat on the one to his right.

"It looks the same," I said.

"uh huh," Five said ringing the bell that was sitting on the counter.

"Dude, be patient," I said.

"I need caffeine," he said.

The door opens and an older man walks in and takes a seat on the other side of Five. We both looked at him and he gave us a small smile. I gave him a small smile back.

"Try to be nice," I whisper to Five.

"I'll try, but only for you," he said.

I felt a light blush creep up to my cheeks.
